wait wait wait. I'd thought grace only wore the white flight suit twice (getting loaded onto the ship while unconscious, deliberating about saving rocky and filming his final log) but he's also wearing it in the celebration scene. big news for people who like weird wedding symbolism <- aka me.

related: as grace gets the bodies ready for their burials-at-sea in space, there's a shot where he slowly and reverently pulls the gauzy white veil away from ilyukhina's dead face. later, the first shot we get on erid is a close-up of grace lying face up with his head completely covered by a thin gauzy white sheet, which he then snatches away from himself when his alarm goes off.
