Hello!! We're Seaweed and Snowflake, and we made an account to promote our fics! Tumblr isn't too great with visibility, though, so it's entirely possible our posts will just be buried. Still, we wanted to give it a try!

An old road, a new path, a little fic and art collab we concocted for SongXue Week 2026!

Song Lan thought that by now he'd be able to put everything behind him, but as he stares out at the horizon, pouches in his hands, he can't help but wish that none of it had ever happened. It seems that the only way for that to be possible is if he does something about it, and it involves seeing someone he was hoping to leave behind for good… But he's never seen him quite like this!
I'll go ahead and spoil it for you: this is more laying the foundations for future SongXue than anything. But it still came out really cute, I think, and I'd love for you to read it! It was Snowflake's art and idea, Seaweed just followed the muse 🥰
This is just a tiny preview of the final illustration disasterising made for Enough love to share to entice you to go check out the whole thing. No joke, I teared up when I saw it.

A-Qing’s favorite was thick beef noodle soup, so that was what was in their bowls as light music from Xue Yang’s speakers filled the kitchen and travelled out to the porch. He and Song Lan, showered and in fresh clothes, had stopped by the butcher’s in town for a big, soft cut of beef, had then lovingly prepared the dish together, and were now enjoying it with Princess A-Qing outside on the porch by the light of their lantern. It was as much a fulfilled promise as it was a celebratory dinner to congratulate Xue Yang on officially becoming a member of the community. A-Qing, as it happened, had become a member long ago. “So am I trapped here forever now? Did an evil prophecy come true and curse me?” Xue Yang asked through loud slurps of noodle. “Maybe,” Song Lan sipped at his soup a lot more quietly, “but I think you’ll like it.”
The next (and final, since the last is going to be just a tiny epilogue alongside a beautiful illustration deserving its own chapter) chapter of Enough love to share is here! I don't even need to tell you what happens in this one, disasterising's beautiful art speaks for itself.
Xue Yang managed a small chuckle at that, but quickly shifted his attention to A-Qing, who was looking a little left out. They’d only been set up for a couple minutes, but he knew it was hard for her to sit still and not have his undivided attention, so he leaned over and gently tugged on her hair to get her to look at him. “Hey,” he said gently, “once we’re done I’ll take you for ice cream.” Puffing her cheeks, his sister gave him a suspicious side glance. “With what money?” “Well, we’ve got to sell at least one jar, right?” Xue Yang had to keep that hope alive, at least. “Look, here comes someone now.”
Another chapter of Enough love to share is ready! This time, we're heading off to the farmer's market. Even though it's summer in the fic, it has quite the autumnal vibe...
A-Qing continued to complain about the suit while Song Lan attempted, quite in vain, to wrap their math lesson up. Xingchen stood up with a little ‘mrrow’ and crawled right into his lap, where he curled up and settled down quite placidly. This caused Song Lan to freeze again and look down at the animal with wide eyes. “Relax!” Xue Yang laughed from his spot by the beehive. “It’s just a cat.” “I know that,” Song Lan replied with some frustration. “I’ve just never… Oh, he’s warm.”

“There’s three of us, so let’s try it out!” A-Qing shamelessly charged into the room, which caused Song Lan to instinctively blurt something out to change her course. “Come see the pond instead. I need to feed the fish and I’d like your help.” It worked like a charm. A-Qing was immediately turning herself around and rushing out into the courtyard, with the storybook still held tightly in her arms. Xue Yang could see Song Lan’s entire body deflate from relief, even though he rapidly regained his composure. “Nice save,” he whispered, a little smirk playing on his lips. “Don’t think I didn’t notice your instigating,” Song Lan whispered back as he walked around him to go fetch his fish food. Xue Yang wondered if maybe he should’ve worn a lighter shirt. He was feeling oddly warm all of a sudden.
New chapter of Enough love to share is up and ready! (And the next one will have art!) Enjoy as Xue Yang attempts to be(e)come a beekeeper and tries to send an email (yikes!), and get a small tour of Song Lan's house, capped off by a nice homemade meal.
Can I just say? Xue Yang and A-Qing are extra cute in this one.
Xue Yang stepped into the shop without making eye contact with anyone, instead keeping his sight trained on A-Qing, who was sniffling loudly and clinging to his leg. She occasionally interrupted her sniffles with a soft, wet whimper, and had he not known she was acting, he would already be scooping her up into his arms. He could tell the women’s chatter had died down, which meant their attention was on them, so he gave A-Qing’s hand a little squeeze to get her to ramp it up. “Stupid!” She wailed loudly enough to turn heads. “Stupid, ugly brother!”

Xue Yang awoke to a raindrop hitting his nose. He grumbled and wiped at his face, fluffed out his pillow, and rolled over before realizing that something was very wrong with this picture. Opening his eyes fully in dismay, he shot up out of bed just in time for another raindrop to land on him. His gaze slowly lifted to the ceiling in horror at the thought that there was yet another thing for him to fix…

When juggling two jobs to raise a six-year-old in a crappy apartment becomes unsustainable, what else is there to do except ditch the city and move out to the idyllic countryside? If only it were actually idyllic and didn't come with its own set of challenges, ranging from displeased neighbors to angry bees. Xue Yang has uprooted his and his sister's entire lives, though, so there's no turning back. He has to make this work. Good thing local heartthrob Song Lan is around to lend a hand.
Enough love to share is a SongXue Minibang collaboration between Seaweed and artist disasterising, who has created a ton of beautiful illustrations to go along with this gentle, cozy fic. In Your Shade, our piece for @songxueweek! Written by Seaweed based on a concept and illustration by Snowflake, it's a short and sweet story of a reincarnated Xue Yang regularly visiting a Song Lan who, for all intents and purposes, is a statue.
We really hope you like it! (🍙)
