I’ve been tormented by these scries for days. and don’t even get me started on the sec.
And doing both colors/terts is not an option because spring blossom is too dark and chartreuse branches looks weird
I guess, technically, doing both could be an option if I make two different pairs, one for branches and the other for blossom. Idk.

New Project Pair: Last Light
I’ve messed around with a lot of different Vigil scries, but none of them have beat this one for me.
Like I said in the other post, this is one of the rarest color combos I’ve seen on site. There’s only 2 dragons with these colors; one of them is a g2 imp and both seem to be in dead lairs. No other way to say it: this’ll take me a very long time to get.
If you’re okay with the wait, I’ve got a pinglist on my in-progress tab for these guys. Wish me luck, haha

4/24 Update
First off: thank you all so much for the response to this project! So many people have offered dragons to help, or wished me luck, or said they’re excited for the pair to be completed, and it’s so incredibly heartwarming. If there was any doubt in my mind about not finishing the pair, it’s gone now. Come hell or high water, I’ll make this a reality :)
Now for the actual update:
Since it’s only been a week since announcing this, not much has happened. I’m still assembling viable pairs (as of writing I have about 18 dragons with the potential to be useful) and keeping an eye out for good dragons. I have a feeling this project will work like my Ad Vitam Aeternam project, where I’ll have to breed to get the dragons that will breed my target. That means this could take a long time, but my AVA pair only took about 2 months to finish.
The great news is that I was able to get my hands on an Ice/Wisteria/Coral g1, which is only 4 off the primary! Hopefully I can find a suitable female for him.
HUGE NEWS
These two have a 12.5% (1/8!!) chance of getting me my target colors!!
As you can see they won’t be ready to breed for another couple of weeks but this is a huge step in the right direction! If this goes right, that’ll be one half of the pair completed— which would be INCREDIBLE
In other news I’m almost done purchasing the breed changes and genes! Just need one more copy of Warp and we’ll be good to go :)
More good news!! This pair also has a 12.5% chance of getting the colors!
Of course the odds are lower for getting the opposite sex on top of the right colors (6.25% I think) but it’s still really good, all things considered. A chance is still a chance, and I’ll take anything I can get.
The pair from the previous reblog (I’ve named that the Viola pair) still hasn’t nested, but I’m watching dragon search and the AH like a hawk for anything useful. I think I’ll change these pairs into Plentiful breeds so I won’t have to wait as long to nest them.

These two are Cream/Thistle/Blush and Cream/Wisteria/Coral respectively-- which means they have a 12.5% chance of getting the right female. I don't mean to jinx anything, but I think we're in the final stretch here lads!
Only catch is that the wc won't be rtb for another three weeks. But I don't mind waiting :P
