I like to imagine Oncie isn't much of a drinker but when it comes to attending special events with One, he's willing to give it a try to be on a par with his partner when they're socializing with others.

Though unfortunately like most amateur drinkers who aren't mindful of what exactly they're about to guzzle down, he just doesn't handle it all that well.

These are all based on an AU where the 1972 movie Once-ler and the 2012 movie Once-ler exist in the same timeline; I’m gonna refer to them as OG (=original [link]) and PB (=posterboy [link]), respectively, which leads to the headcanon that...

OG comes up with the brilliant idea of using PB as a posterboy for the company—the face of the thneed ad campaign, to increase sales. [link] [link] Cuz even tho it’s never mentioned in canon we all know in a meta way that PB is supposed to be hot af, like we all know Illumination gave him a pretty face to attract more viewers so!!! Why wouldn’t OG know this too

(The above headcanon and this next headcanon can also be mutually exclusive) PB eventually starts his own thneed company, but still highly respects OG as top dog and sees him as an idol. [link] [link] [link] Maybe they have a mentor/protege relationship at some point.

And then maybe somewhere down the line PB grows out of the protege role cuz he becomes even more successful than OG, tho he doesn’t lose his mad respect for him. They live and let live, since they each have their own truffula valleys, and they acknowledge each other as untouchable moguls of the thneed business.

And then one day, they strike some kind of deal with each other and start having regular business meetings to discuss the progress of that deal. [link]

What the paparazzi don’t know is that they also have hot makeouts during said business meetings, obsessing over each other’s faces (aka PB’s moneymaker face, and OG’s face which is too hot to show on screen ever), wealth, and status. [link] [link] [link] [link] Only they can understand each other. Only they are worthy of each other. Only OG’s charm can outmatch PB’s charisma.

The CEOs of rival companies being lovers is quite scandalous, so they keep their affair a secret! ;) [link] [link]

hearing you talk about 7212 is so entertaining, the dynamic of 7212 is just, great like im in love with it, but there isn't really much fics about!, what's your opinion about 7212 and why is it so intriguing?

I'm glad you found my headcanons entertaining! :,D

As for my opinion, if i go along with the headcanon that the onceler was untouchable and idolized in public during his biggering days [link], and to then see a secret, more vulnerable side of him in 7212—personally I feel like it’s a juicy and refreshing alternative to (as well as subversion of) the "greedler” persona that was created for/by classic oncest. 7212 is rebellious, it’s scandalous, it’s galaxy-brained. Don’t get me wrong, I love the psychological aspect of classic oncest, but we try so hard to ship onceler with himself when the 1972 onceler is right there. We can ship two canon oncelers together and have them both be completely their own person! So rather than splitting the onceler in half, we keep him whole and pair him up with another whole and established onceler from an earlier film that is often being heralded as the better adaptation. And rather than pitting the movies against each other, we have them figuratively hold hands and kiss instead ♥

Also the OG onceler being faceless compels us to come up with creative compositions and expositions that tend toward scenes that make u feel as if you’re intruding on something private, and i love that. 🙈 All 7212 content is good content, and i wish there were more fics too
