Since the gift exchange season is already approaching, here comes back one of the best Caratblr traditions: Secret Carat! This is a fun event made with the intent to make new friends who share the same interests as you and receive a nice little gift at the end of it! Who doesn’t love meeting new people and talking about what you like, right?

Together we can make this season amazing and share all the love we have to give as a community! If you’re interested in that, it’s really easy, just follow a few steps:

You must like Seventeen, since this is an event for the Carat side of Tumblr. Like Seventeen, but you don’t need to have a blog only for them and they don’t have to be your ult group either. Being a casual fan is ok too.

You must be a content creator. Graphics, edits, gifs, fanart, moodboards, fanfic, etc. This is a gift exchange event, so everyone should be able to give something in order to receive something.

Having both your askbox open for anonymous asks and your DMs open for messages are also a must. Since it’s by anonymous asks that you’ll be talking to each other and I’ll be sending out the names on your DM.

You must be able to send at least one message a week for this to work. It would be best if they could be more frequent, especially since it’ll be only 4 weeks worth of it, but once a week is the ultimate minimum so the other person won’t feel ignored this whole time. Also always sign your asks with “- secret carat” so your recipient knows exactly who you are!

From December 1st to December 25th you’ll be sending anonymous asks to your gift recipient. Ask about what they like, to ramble about their bias/fave animal/the weather/etc. Get to know each other, make a new friend and get some ideas for a great gift that they’ll totally love!

When revealing yourself, tag your creation using #secretcarat so everyone can see what you’ve made!

Application time: November 10th - November 25th 23:59 KST Get to know your recipient: December 1st - December 2nd (depends on timezones) Reveal who you are: December 25th - December 31st (at most)
