Fred was pretty good at making friends, at least he liked to think he was. For some reason the conversation he was having with this person led to him juggling three apples-literally! He sort of just grabbed them as soon as saw them to show off and impress them. “See, I told you I was more than a pretty face! This is just one of my many talents.”
“.. Great.” There’s a drawn dullness in her tone, hardly a fault of the one before her exactly – she was generally this way with most things. While surely the act of juggling required a fair bit of skill for any one person, the mere ‘talent’ not so easily mastered, the raven-hair was rarely one so easily affected. If it didn’t have wheels, couldn’t pay bills, or generally just wasn’t a worthwhile enough endeavor, consider her done with it. Cigarette hanging loosely between painted lips, it was obvious her concerns lied elsewhere as a hand filled with groceries gestured somewhere behind him. “Can I go, now?”
He’d stopped her just as she was reaching her vehicle, exiting a store with a bag full of plums and more cigarettes. And not that the conversation wasn’t riveting thus far, truly – one for the ages, probably. She just had places to be that weren’t in the middle of a parking lot with some strange, oblivious boy.
She was also a little worried she might run him through with her car if she didn’t mention .. well, something. Given she’d need to reverse, and all.
Fred dropped the apples on the ground, completely giving up on the juggling. “S-sorry, miss. Don’t worry, I won’t waste any more of your time with silly tricks.” He pretty much found everyone attractive so when he was in the presence of a good looking person it kind of made him act like an idiot. Well, more so than usual.
