“Korra is the niece of the Northern Water Tribe Chief and Navy Admirals daughter. Asami is the daughter of Hiroshi Sato and heir to Sato Industries. After a deal is made to build factories and help create jobs and machinery in the Northern Tribe, mostly for the military, between the Tribe and Sato, what better way to symbolize this moments of progress and future opportunities than a marriage between two princess of sorts?”
