"Listen ..." Belly started, leaning forward and taking a sip from her Dr. Pepper before continuing. "I spent my entire life in love with the same boy, dated him and his brother and even almost married his brother ... after he technically cheated on me. A shrug was offered as she leaned back in her seat now, picking at the few fries she had left. Growing up a lot over the past few years had really put things into perspective for her, while she didn't really regret any of her past - she knew not all of it was exactly ... great.
Mona looked at the girl. Belly. She liked that name. It was fun. She listened to her explain her story and grinned. “That is so wild. You know I dated brothers too. The Kahn’s. First Eric and then Noel. Sadly they weren’t the ones.” She frowned.
The girl leaned back, her finger circling the iced coffee cup in front of her. “Well I was sent away. For a bit. It was totally not jail.” She shakes her head and I am not crazy. I hate it when people say that. I have mental health issues. I’m medicated now. So I’m perfectly capable of being around people. I just can’t have a phone or a computer or social media. I’m like off the grid.”
one thing about the show is it liked to make the creeps from the books not creeps. in the books e*ra was literally arrested yet in the show he married aria???? and then toby was the one hurting jenna yet the show made him the victim??? i know sara was MAD
so my two headcanons / divergences from the books is that courtney and mona live. they both go "missing" but truthfully they end up hiding away together in canada
