impossible.
The chances of staying in a comatose state for more than a week without the slightest change of health had to be close to none. Yet, here we have the son of the Grim Reaper awakening, sprawled out on his bed as his consciousness began to form the first coherent thoughts heâs had in monthsâŚ
(Ah..? Thatâs right.. this is .. Hive City. ..this bedroom.. I⌠recognize it. Itâs mine, definitely.. In addition, it appears to beâ- )
âââ-ASYMMETRICAL--!?â
Shouting in complete disgust, Death the Kid narrowed his eyes as he forced himself to stand, nearly falling over in the process as he slowly accustomed to using his body again. His head felt momentarily dizzy before his heart was able to function properly, pumping his D-type blood back to where it should be.
Immediately, the shinigami proceeded to organize the place, finding it quite evident that his roommates had not cared much for keeping the place tidy. Naturally, it didnât take long; he was surprisingly efficient when blinded by rage. After he finished, he noted that although items were placed where they belonged, the entire room was coated with dust. The mess had certainly remained untouched for quite a while, meaning his roommate hadnât returned in quite a while, as wellâŚ
Death the Kid quickly came to understand that both he and the apartment had been long abandoned, but for how long, he was unsure⌠Nonetheless, this certainly called for an investigation.
Properly adjusting his usual black-and-white attire, the boy headed out into Sector oo6, a feeling of deja vu temporarily overwhelming him. Noticing a simple passerby, his golden hues soon locked on to them as he decided to make an approach.
âExcuse me? âyes, youâ Forgive me if this seems sudden, but I need a moment of your time, if you donât mind.â
âWhat.. what day is it? Month? ⌠Year? Has anything major happened since the malfunction of the robots in sector oo2?â
â The time Meru has spent here she has not met one god once so ever. That's a good thing since she works under them in her world. Even though being kidnapped into this city with strange events happening was bad luck not meeting a god was a good perk. Too bad today will be different. The small girl heard some rumbling in the apartment. Geeze, Sector Six could be a bit rowdy at times couldn't it? Who was that damn voice? She found it awfully rude since she was trying to settle down and read a book. Meru sighed seeing as the noise wouldn't stop soon. Quickly she gets a change of clothing walking out of the room. She decided to dress for the season. It was suppose to be winter wasn't it?
"Too cold."Â
She simply stated to herself as she walked down the street. Though it didn't take long for the death god to come down. She turned around to see the well dressed boy. Hm he looks like one to have manners. He had a bit of a Gothic style though...perhaps he's one of those die hard cosplayers or Gothics. Whatever.
"Those robots? Hmm well I've got to say that was some time ago, It's The first of December now. An---"
Her blue eyes widen a bit at realization. That voice...it was that person in her apartment! Uck! She regretted being talked to. She didn't feel like dealing with anyone stupid at the moment. Really what was he going on about symmetry? Meru herself was asymmetrical. She had longer star dangle earrings on her left ear while the right ear had one smaller sized one not to mention she only had a chain in her ear on one side! She thought things should look nice but there was no way she was that obsessed! Maybe it was some fluke she thought and something else happened but really out of all things that?
Her cute little round face sighed looking at the buildings. It seems the clean up has happened already so there wasn't much to say. That was the wonder of this city. Always re-setting as if nothing had ever happened, only the people are affected, or at least the people who let it affect them.Â
"There was some sort of virus making you insane with other symptoms. That antidote has been released so you have no need to worry. Though you should learn to tone it down when living in an apartment."

what is this? [@followers]
This was truly overwhelming for him. When was the last time he actually talked to a person? Not some god but an actual human, more or less. Ganymede couldnât even remember when that was. Sure, once and a while somebody would be dropped into the Garden but that was nothing. It wasnât somebody he could trust or be friends with.
So many people was well. This really was a city, a proper city. Just like Troy before he was destroyed. Although, of course, this place was a lot more advanced than his homeland. The prince just stared at the person. It was rude, he knew that very well but he felt so many mixed emotions. He was happy but slightly worried. He couldnât trust anybody here and the blond didnât know what they would be like.
He just had to hope they would be nice to him. The prince was quite used to rude and cruel people, thanks to a certain God so he could handle it. To be honest he was expecting very little kindness if he got any. It was now or never really. Slowly, the blond opened his mouth.
ââŚWho are you?â
â Did he have a problem with only talking to Gods too? Meru, in her world, worked under the gods. She was an assassin for them. One of the thousands of assassins though she is top rank. Everyone thought of Meru as a social butterfly...only if they never knew her. She herself didn't like people. She talked to few and would only talk to people if they sparked interest or talked to her first. She wasn't going to be rude since she was a lady so if a person needed help, well maybe Meru would help them. Walking around the city Meru saw many people from different worlds. Who would have thought huh? See another flaw with the gods. Did they know about all the other gods from other worlds? Pft one god many gods whatever.
She walked down the street. From the outside point of view it looked like she was just some cute girl with a baby face walking down the street. She looked a bit troubled from the outside as if she was pouting. Nope Meru was just thinking. She couldn't help but have a cute pout upon her face. It was natural cuteness...unlike her personality. She had seen the blond on the corner of her eye, she was going to casually walk past him...or her, hard to tell by just a glance. Well Meru was about to leave when the blond spoke. Oh a male.
"Who am I?"
Well Meru may not like people she liked toying with them. Since this person was obviously new this would be easy. Now Meru already had a fake name for her days online. It wasn't creative but this guy wouldn't know! The petite girl walks up with a natural smile on her face. Her big blue eyes shine brightly looking up at him.
"Why I am one of the Cities Rulers. Are you a new Civilian who doesn't know their place? Call me Rue."
As sweet as she looked she would be putting her personality in her act a lot. If Ganymede was looking for someone nice. Oh well he has found Meru. She would play for him as long as it was interesting then she would come clean. A childish game was fun once in a while so why not put a little scare into this person. Maybe he could be of use and do some chores for her~.
{{Meru & Senida}}
Senida sighed at this. Meru seemed very rude about this. Not noticeably, of course. Youâd have to look more closely to see it. She did ask for her help, though, so she really shouldnât be complaining. However, she had no idea how a maid cafe worked. It sounded like a restaurant where the girls dressed like maids. But, from what she saw around the place, that didnât seem the only thing they did, even so much as addressing the men as âmasterâ and such.
The albino frowned at this. No way in hell was she going to call someone âmasterâ and act like some lowly service maid. But, she would at least have to try it for now. Sighing as she gave in for the moment, she nodded, going into the changing room to switch into her uniform before coming back out in it. It didnât seem too bad, just a bit on the short side. Hell, it couldâve been worse, in her opinion.
â Now how did Meru look like in that maid outfit? With her fairly sized breast and curves you would think she would look sexy wouldn't you? Well in a way she did but of course her cute face just made the image much different. Her short hair gave a moe look along with her round face and big blue eyes. Her earrings did help make her look a bit older but not much. It just gave her flare to have all those piercings in her ear. Maybe the stars dangling on her left ear just gave the men at the cafe have an excuse to look at her.
OH. Well lets not forget how degrading this kind of job is! Meru liked the outfit, she cosplayed often, but she didn't like calling people master no way! She absolutely wouldn't be one of those girls who took of their leggings to give to them! PERVS! No this is how Meru worked. She would go in knowing her cuteness and legs would attract attention. She would then go to the table with big blue eyes asking what would they like to order in her lady like manner, then if they asked her to use any sort of Master she would come back with this.
"Oh ---kun is such a pervert! I couldn't do anything like that!"
Of course there are some who wouldn't take no as an answer but then that would just make another guy come up and say, "don't bother the poor girl!" Yup Meru the natural. Able to keep her dignity a bit and grab more costumers. It was a natural thing for her. As long as no one said she was cute...When someone did say she was cute Meru would pout and her work would be a bit sloppy on purpose. She wouldn't give the so called master a show or anything. A flaw about this job. But it only shined on how much Meru had a damn cute face. Now how Senida was doing Meru made sure to keep an eye out for her but asking would be nice wouldn't it~.
"Oh Miss Senida how are you doing?"
â snakes & ladders ;
â You act like we needed proof to begin with. â
That was how the human race was, though, wasnât it? No matter what, there was bound to be mistakes and errors and Lotti understood that. However, the more a person dived into that mistake without realizing, the more they were at fault for the entire situation. Jack had chosen his own path without a mistake, knowing what he was doing, there was no way such a thing was a mistake that could be blamed on stupidity.
And unfortunately for this girl, Lotti was going to treat her like a little girl! Thatâs how she generally did with people younger than her, at least. The way she talked only made the pinkette laugh, hand covering her mouth at how adorable she seemed. Thinking this was all just a figment of oneâs imagination â even if some people could have been true in that regard, it was much too big of a coincidence for all this damage to be done just by a placebo.
â How cute! â With a smile, the woman reached over to ruffle the girlâs hair. â Thatâs too obvious. I truly believe there was a virus that broke out; to believe itâs all just a figment is the same as saying everything that makes you upset or happy is all the same. Placing the blame on the scientists lying isnât quite right, especially when they went through the trouble of setting up a cure â these people wouldnât waste their time. â
Even if she hadnât paid attention to much of what was said, if anything at all, she knew that there had to be precursors to this event.
Of course she could be wrong, having been avoiding everybody.
â A pleasure, Miss Meru. â With a nod, the girl perked up at the mention of her cape, hand grasping it and loosely wiggling it as if inspecting it. â My master gave it to me~.
Why is it that you ask? â
"It's more benefit of the doubt kind of feeling I've been told to look on the bright side more to match my appearance."
â Yes Humans make mistakes. But in Meru's world there is no perfect, even God, the all mighty, is not perfect. Well at least she thinks. It's the reason why she hates people who want to become God or worship him a bit too much for her liking. Really church every sunday to worship someone to give you good fortune in the afterlife? Meru shrugged the thought off. She would be keeping her theory that God was their stupid reason to live. They would never find out about him due to being scared. Scared that all they have ever known would come crashing down.
Meru did believe in the placebo. She has seen it work wonders and ruin peoples lives. A placebo is another way of showing a persons true nature. She didn't know that she was nodding cutely, in fact Meru tends to forget she looks well...adorable. Once Lotti  ruffles her hair calling her cute Meru froze. Oh dear.  She had just found the big sister type. With a little pout Meru fixes her hair. A natural pink comes across her face. It was degrading to have this happen to her!
"I'm not saying there never was no virus...All I'm saying is, well, it wasn't so bad to spread across the city that quickly."
You would think a girl like Meru would believe in things easily. She looked like the type who would fall into the scientist trap easily. Maybe that's why she was here. Tch oh well the event was over and now it's clean up time. Meru still wondered why it was taking so long. Not like them at all. When the blackout happened all those dogs were gone before she knew it!
"Oh Master?"
The brunette did her best not to look so childish this time. Of course that didn't work with her big blue eyes. She flips her hair a bit to untangle her earrings. A little glisten comes off of the dangling stars she wears on her left ear. If she didn't look like a child you could say she looked a bit like a delinquent with all those earrings she wore. Not to mention that curioussmile she had plastered on her face!
"I ask because I saw a little girl wearing the same thing. Could it be you both work under the same master?"
If she did she would spark Meru's interest wayyy up. Maybe she was a killer just like the little blond she saw back then. An annoying child but interesting one.
Arf Arf! (@New Followers)
[Koromaru has yet to meet anybody he knew⌠at least he found his apartment with the aide of some people, but he hasnât met any of his room mates yet. He still wondered as to why he was here, it was a social experiment and he couldnât exactly talk directly to anybody. He decided to go and clear his head with a walk by himself]
[Anybody who looked at the dog could tell he was thinking about something; he was just confused⌠did dogs get paid if they got a job in Hive City? He was certainly capable of being a police dog if it ever came to that.
Then, just as he turned the corner, he saw a huge wave of people heâd never seen before; maybe they could help him, he didnât need any help finding his apartment any more so why not get to know some people! He chose one of them at random and decided to say hello]
Woof!
â Arf Arf? Oh look what we have here! If people thought Meru looked like a child from before just look at her now! Her face lit up at the site of Koromaru! Meru liked dogs. In fact she often picked up strays but they would find good homes quickly. She wouldn't have much time to spend being in clubs at day and assassin at night!
Now Meru isn't Aigis and can read straight off the bat at what he's saying but thanks to her star alignment reading she can understand partly what he said. Nothing too difficult right now! Meru did also read one other strange thing....this dog...is he...special? She couldn't really tell but her body instantly crouched down to his level. She stared at him for a moment. From the outside view it looked like Meru had a staring problem but her big blue eyes were just trying to figure out Koromaru...too bad this place blocked abilities...
"Hello I'm Meru"
Now the girl looked a bit strange talking to the dog. She could tell though that he was smart, or at least she hopped so. His type of breed usually was smart but there could be some delinquents that didn't have the proper training. She would test this out by putting her hand out for a shake.Â
"It's nice to meet you, you're new I assume?"
â snakes & ladders ;
⌠perhaps this little Baskerville didnât have manners after all.
Really, it had taken her a bit more to realize the girl had been saying something. By the time she would have been able to stop, it would have been too late. Considering the fact she had started asking while approaching the figure⌠well, there wasnât anything that could be done in the long run, something she felt no need to apologize for when it was just a mere accident in speaking their words.
Whatever the case was, she was getting information! A virus seemed to have spread, one of the newer incidents to have been plagued upon them by these scientists. No matter which way you looked, it seemed that they were out to make your lives living hell â then again, wasnât that the purpose of this lab rat experiment that they had going?
â I see~. Though I donât blame them if thereâs so little; the ones who desire to be cured most will do what they can for it. â
Now, she wasnât going to lie. All the scientists had been messing with them in terms of how they addressed the situation. Telling the subjects one thing would make them do the other if they were distrustful. Saying something of the opposite direction might get them moving in the one they wanted the subjects to go, after all.
Such a sticky situation for others who were rebellious.
â If thatâs the case, I take it that means you were never infected to think that way, missâŚÂ ? â A small pause before deciding to introduce herself to the stranger. â You can call me Lotti, by the way! â
â Meru had to admit one thing talking to this pinkette. She sure had a way of thinking. Meru liked that. They were lab rats that wanted data for some reason unknown even to god. Meru had often wondered...did they want to be god? Well she wouldn't get into their thoughts being an assassin to the gods. She took a look behind her as some of the stores were subject to broken windows. Yup people who wanted the cure did do whatever they wanted but of course people like Meru knew better. Scientist was obviously tricking them they wouldn't let their precious city be over ran with a virus too long, why would they shorten the supply? Only for money uses...
"It just proves how stupid some people are."
The wind blows through her short hair making her set it back in place. Meru wished she looked like how she acted then she wouldn't have to answer so many of the same questions. Meru you see looks like a child, excluding her figure, she's short, baby face, big blue eyes, and has a natural smile. To think that this woman in front of her would even think that she would have the virus was a bit insulting but Meru could understand. No one knew of her power and it was alright...as long as she didn't start treating her like a little kid Meru would let this go.
"No I was never infected. This virus was true to infect most people but it was also very clear that the virus most likely was just a figment of some peoples imagination. Really because people are trapped they start to believe in almost anything."
She knew it was only human nature. After all in order to survive you need a purpose for living. You need something to keep going. Some of these people are dependent on the scientist and believe just about anything. When that announcement broke out she could see people's faces start to worry. Suddenly their actions began to change, really now to get sick it doesn't take a minute according to how they explained it. Oh well guess it's time for Meru to make a  new acquaintance.Â
"Nice to meet you Miss Lotti I'm Meru Hoishiko..."
Big blue eyes stare at the others attire. Meru was sure she had seen that same cape from somewhere. Quickly her memory is back to an annoying, deadly, interesting little child.Â
"Excuse me where did you get that red cape?"
{{Meru & Senida}}
Luckily, Senida was pretty quick from training and school. However, Meru was going just a bit fast for her. Huffing as they finally stopped, Senida shook her head. She was still trying to catch her breath, as it was coming in short raspy breaths. Soon catching her breath, she waited for her outside. Her next sentence brought immediate objection from the little albino.
âA maid cafe!? U-UhmâŚWhy didnât you ask me? How are the hours, anyway!?â
"A job's a Job."
â Most people would call what Meru did rude right? Well if you asked her she would surely fight saying that Senida asked for her help and such. Meru handed her the uniform walking into the cafe in order to get dressed herself. She didn't mean to look so childish like she always does but...It was entertaining to work a maid cafes~~. All the cute girls the only downside would be disgusting men at times. Meru had made a deal with the manager that they would fill in for two girls who happen to be missing. If they liked them they could come back but an actual job was still in the thinking zone.
"Now lets get started and see how this job works for you!"
{{Meru & Senida}}
Now if something like that were to happen, clean up would be a breeze! Just torch the mess and itâll be nothing but ashes! Then, take a broom, and sweep! Easy-peasy! That is, unless anyone were to witness it. Which there would be witnesses. Which would cause problems. Lots of problems.
Seeing the doors open, Senida was about to get up until Meru beat her to it. Before she knew it, her hand was grabbed and she was being dragged off. âWait! What job?â She didnât like where this was going. But, as she was being dragged, she looked off to the scenery around them and smiled.
Almost tripping as they continued on, Senida gasped for air. âC-Can we take a break from running, please?â
â Meru had a tight grip on Senida's hand. she couldn't have her getting lost now could she? The brunette ignored the other continuing to run. Meru tends to forget she's an assassin and her strengths and speed are much different than others. Oh well hehe  would she care if she did remember? She stopped in front of the building she saw through the window. Thank god the buildings haven't switched yet.Â
"Have you caught your breath yet?"
She only asked the question out of politeness. She walked into the building already and started talking to the store manager. He looked pretty big and mean. He was wearing a white t-shirt and black pants. Now what was he doing hmm you can't really tell from the outside but Meru right now was getting them a part time job. It didn't take long for her to come out and greet Senida with another smile. She looked like a cute child who just accomplished something...But in truth Meru has just done something without Senida's permission not caring what she really thought at the moment~.
"Welcome we are both now working at a maid cafe here's your uniform!"
see-star started following you
âHeehee, yes, itâs good to not be an idiot.â
âSo it is dangerous here, then? Are there wandering monsters, or some other hazard Iâm going to have to avoid? Iâm sure you can see why I might need to know.â
"Well honestly I can't tell you want to avoid. You just have to be ready for the unexpected. For the time I've been here many things have happened. None related at all. "
â Meru was often ready by events but they would still come as a shock. it was just...very irritating.
"you look like you can handle yourself though, for some odd reason I feel as if your use to strange things happening. it could just be me though."
â snakes & ladders ;
Like a maze, the city seemed to suck you in as if enticing you with the mysterious aura it held. No matter how much you explored, there was no way you could memorize everything. Something new would catch your attention, distract you and make you halt to examine it and waste more time from escaping from the walls that shot up around you with warning. Always ending up in one place when you meant to find another, bound by simple luck and hope that you wouldnât get lost â an eternal game of snakes and ladders that the scientists had thrust you into.
And as the woman took the steps down from her apartment (not accustomed to elevators, they gave her an uneasy feeling when riding), she could only laugh to herself at the thought.
Upon arrival outside, however, the womanâs smile faded as a curious expression took hold. There seemed to be a lot of damage â from the virus, perhaps? â that scattered the streets. Most seemed picked up, but otherwise the woman hadnât a clue as to why it looked so⌠disgusting would be a good term for how this sector usually looked, right?
⌠locking herself away in her room for so long didnât seem like it had been much of a good idea.
But lack of knowledge could always be fixed, the woman letting her cheerful smile return as she pulled the read cloak against her back once more. Pink eyes targeted the closest person, figuring they must be subjects of the city with how oddly they stood out to the other inhabitants (something she had learned to pick up on to tell the difference so she wouldnât confuse) of the city.
â Excuse me there! You wouldnât happen to know what all this mess is about, would you? â
â Uck. Another headache. Meru never slept well without her partner. After all he had the power to cool down her nightmares. Well not nightmares per say but dreams of peoples darkest secretes. In this city it seemed to have been tone down but she could still hear everything clearly. Really out of all the powers that had to be stricken from her this cruse still remained. The brunette walked the streets, pft scientist always did a quick clean up didn't they? Why was it that this time it took time? Disgusting.
Meru was not affected by the virus that had spread but sure as hell everyone else was. How annoying was it to fight off all those people! It gave her a chance to see if she lost her touch so she couldn't complain all that much. She hopped over a person laying on the ground. Most likely dead, they would come back alive though, this place did that to people. It would be a bit strange to see Meru at the moment. The city was in turmoil and here was a girl walking calmly down the street. Her innocent face just didn't match the cities.Â
"Oh I almost forgo--"
Just when Meru had remembered something she felt was important a woman's voice ran through her ears. Did she have no manners? For the love of whatever Meru had just lost her train of thought! Blue orbs look over to see the pinkette. Oh my she was a lovely woman~. Meru has a small weakness for girls. Especially cute ones. Some say that it's due to her being so cute. She feels if she treats others that way then she herself wouldn't look so cute and innocent..others say it's just Meru...Though one problem. the woman infront of her was indeed cute but she had more sex appeal and a child like cuteness. Ohoho Meru didn't mind this one bit.
"Well Miss I don't know were you've been but a virus was spread causing people to go insane and now it seems there is a cure. It seems there is a little bit though so people are scrambling....Honestly I think people are just over reacting."
Meru with her pimp earringsâŚ.
Homework. Sleep. Eat.
gotta do these things now~. Byebye!Â
{{Meru & Senida}}
As they got to the train, Senida tried to take deep breaths to calm herself. Boarding the train, she couldnât help but see Meru laugh at the people almost getting their hands cut off. Well, it seemed pretty idiotic to Senida, too, but thatâs the way it usually was. Still, she wasnât one to laugh at something like that. She may like to tease people and all that, but she wasnât a sadist. Coming out of thought as Meruâs voice made itself apparent, she turned her attention to her, smiling with her blush almost gone, but not quite.
âWellâŚI donât really know what jobs are here. I donât like charging people to hear music, though, so a musician is out of the question. So is chef unless you want me to burn the place down.â
â Funny to think that Meru is a Protagonist and not the Antagonist. She wouldn't have cared much if a person's hand was cut off. The only downside but be the awful mess and delay if that were to happen! She would have to fix it right away! Blue orbs look out the window as they approach sector 5. So she didn't want to be a cook nor a musician. Meru didn't answer not knowing what to really do. She thought and thought and right when she got an idea the doors opened just as she jumped up and spoke happily.Â
"I have an idea!"
The petite girl grabbed the others hand dragging her off the train. Oh Meru knew just what she was going to do for Senida. In fact Meru would also be joining in on the job! She's never done it before so there was no problem!Â
"It'll be somewhat fun! Boys will love it!"
â Caves & Bird jokes?
The sun was beginning to slowly dip below the city skyline, bathing the streets in shadows as the streetlights began to flicker on one after another. This was all pretty normal in itself⌠although the young girl tracing her way through the unfamiliar territory couldnât help but be on edge. Hiyoko Tousaka hadnât been sure what to make of it, when sheâd woken up staring at a crisp white ceiling. The first thing to pass through her bleary mind was wondering how sheâd managed to fall asleep in the infirmary, slowly realizing as consciousness returned that; a) she hadnât visited the infirmary that day and b) her last memories were of falling asleep in her own cozy home. Sitting up quickly, the student had only swung her legs over the side of the table when a screen flickered to lifeâŚ
Hello! Youâre probably wondering whatâs going on, so allow me to fill you in!
Pausing under a streetlight, Hiyoko took a moment to pursue her surroundingsâthis place looked like any other city, but the majority of the things that had been said on that video in the white room had her hunter gatherer instincts on red alert. She couldnât see anybirdie she knew amidst the slowly thinning crowds⌠aaah, it was getting late, wasnât it? People should be returning home around now.
Hands on hips, the girl wondered if it would be possible to find a nice cave in this place. It had taken her so long to make her home sweet home what it was, and even if it wasnât exactly perfect⌠it was her home. She sincerely hoped no one would disrupt it while she was goneâas much as she loved her abode, it wasnât exactly high security. What would she do if she couldnât find a temporary replacement here, though? And what about the weird letters and numbers sheâd been given? Folding her arms, the brunette took a moment to consider her optionsâŚ
Stuck in a strange place with nobirdie she knew, supposedly now part of some kind of social experiment and with no way to get home. Really, Hiyoko counted herself as a rather adaptable person, but this was a bit out of her depth. Eyes glanced up as the light above her flickered, emitting a low buzz as she began to walk again. A hotel would be an option most people would consider when stranded for the night in a strange city, but all she had was the change and lint lining her uniform pockets. As situations went, it was far from ideal.
Not that her home situation was much better, but when had she ever considered that a problem?
As much as those trusted hunter instincts of hers were telling her to stay on guard⌠it couldnât hurt to ask for help, right? They did say you could make friends in the most unlikely of places, and this was about as unlikely as they came! Not to mention that she was all too happy to meet new friendsâ
Previous stress quickly melting from her youthful face, Hiyoko smiled and tried to catch the attention of a close passerby.
âExcuse me! Could you tell me where the nearest cave is?â
â Night time is when she always felt strongest...not that she disliked the day time or anything but this was when the stars would be out. She looked up at the sky and what did she see? Well of course the damn city lights! This was why Meru lived in one of those nice Rual area houses...They still weren't as good as being smack middle in the forest but it was a much better site than looking at the city. Meru sighs heavily walking down the streets. So many people awake so late at night. Some people looked at her most likely thinking should a child be walking around here at night?
Then those who realized her earrings and more developed body - excluding her shortness - would be thinking she might be a pimps girlfriend or something. Cute face but a rebel...Of course that wasn't Meru at all so all these accusations would be pissing her off. idiots. People are just damn Idiots. No one cold guess from her childlike expression that she felt this way, but they could tell that she was utterly surprised to hear what the girl she had just passed said. Cave? Well Curiosity brought in the cat.
"...Excuse me could you tell me why in the world are you looking for a cave?"
Meru hoped she wasn't one of those hippies or Christopher McCandless people. Excluding their lives from civilization trying to be one with nature or something like that. This girl looked cute too what a shame if she really was like that! Meru would be keeping this thought hidden and just state another question that seemed obvious.
"You're new to this city aren't you?"
