Seeley had seen too much that he had a hard time ever letting his little girl out to places like that, not to mention he didn’t want her drinking.

Her own track record certainly left something to be desired, and truthfully she shared some of her father’s worries, but the girl had hoped that perhaps facing these fears would prove better than simply avoiding.
