A long time ago, I joined a dating group in Facebook. Its harmless. Everyone on there is far away, and the group, although entertaining and funny, realistically, it is not something I would use to get a date from, but who knows. It was a fun quirky group - that I popped my head in every once in a while.Â
So last night, a girl on there posted a dialogue between her and a douchebag she had on POF. I found this conversation to be profoundly disturbing. So much - that I wanted to re-post the screenshots here and give my insight regarding the situation.Â
The group has rules -such that unsolicited friend requests, unsolicited PMâs result in reprimand and or banning. I did nothing of the sort. I logged in this morning and asked the girl who posted the photos -in open forum - âDo you mind if I send you a PM? I need to ask a question." I was immediately met with âYou canât do that, read the rules, you have to have an active conversation in the thread.âÂ
I saidâŠthat I had (I had) and I got fed up and just asked the question in public, if I could use her screenshots on this tumblr. It was met with swift deletion.Â
What in the actual flying fucking fuck?Â
I did NOT send the PM, I did NOT send a friend request. I did NOT ask anyone for a date, naked pictures, or send her a picture of my junk.Â
ANYWAY
Hereâs the gist of the dialogue I wanted to write about today (the screenshots I canât repost):
Idle small talk about work, the dude works at Food Lion (A grocery store). She then asks him if heâs in school, (probably shocked that a 38 year old works at a grocery store as his primary job - he shares with 16 year olds.Â
He then goes on to say he lives with his mom and pays child support (has two kids). She then seemingly brushes this off and starts idle chit-chat about kids. with a light dusting of flirting. (there is hope yet for this guy yet! ⊠but is there?)
Strike two - He then admits to living with his mom for the last 6 years. Â She is mildly shocked about this information. But still talks to him. He says he just likes to âbe honestâ. He then drops a bomb. Strike three. The nail in the coffin:Â

Thereâs all kinds of wrong with this train wreck. I give the man props for at least being honest up front and saving her from getting the herp. But this is a classic case for http://straightwhiteboystexting.tumblr.com ⊠he jumps in to asking if she wants to meet up, then upon being rejected he lashes out. Just like straightwhiteboystexting tumblr - they should be stopped.Â

I like to joke, and ridicule people on here. Its not fair, I know. But I will take a million fake dating site profiles with photos of hot women wanting NSA sex. I will take a million more profiles of girls not asking for drama, but exuding drama. I will take a million more profiles of blatant racist redneck girls... as opposed to just ONE asshole like this. Women DO in fact have it harder. At the same time, they have it easier - if they want sex or hookups or whatever - they have it at their disposal. BUT. They have to deal with this shit. I believe there are girls who do want love. They are out there. Until I meet that girl who wants love, and its mutual, I will continue to put one foot in front of the other and walk through the labyrinth of life.Â
