I DON’T CARE WHAT ANYONE ELSE SAYS. THIS YEAR WAS FUCKING HORRIBLE BUT THE ONE SHINING MOMENT OF THIS BLEAK FUCKING YEAR WAS WHEN HUNDREDS OF THOUSANDS OF PEOPLE MADE THE IMPOSSIBLE FUCKING HAPPEN AND PLAYED ONE OF THE BEST GOD DAMN GAMES EVER CREATED TOGETHER AT THE SAME TIME.

Really though, TwitchPlaysPokemon was an amazing event for me because I felt like I was back in 1998 and all my friends and I were playing pokemon again for the first time. Like, we knew what we were supposed to do, and where to go, but that feeling that literally anything could happen shot me straight back to being a kid again, and really immersing myself in that game. I was scared we were going to lose our pokemon and we did, I was worried we wouldn’t be able to beat certain story events and be shot back 5 hours of gameplay time, it was fun to see people talking about it and trying make gameplans for certain areas. Everyone who partook was a part of a giant adventure together, in a way that I don’t think will ever happen again. 

I fucking loved TPP. That was a great fucking moment in 2014.
