WHY DID I FIND THIS AGAIN
Pain was something that if you got through it, proved you were strong, right? It was something that to this male, was nothing, it was nothing at all, he could manage, he could—
It was the third night in a row, this had happened and thus kept him up for the rest of the night, it was his own fault, but he had avoided letting on about it— of course, there was not many people he told in-detail the condition his leg was in(Hyuuga being the one that knew more than anyone else.), in the first place, after all, he didn’t want to worry his teammates, they were meant to be protected by him, he was meant to hold them together, he was the person that started that team a year prior, he would be the one to make sure it succeeded.
But, he was pushing it, pushing way past the limit he was suppose to be taken, pushing his body to the breaking point each and every practice, each and every practice match, each and every goal and because of this, for those past three nights, the pain that was coursing through his leg, would wake him up and he would wince in pain, curled up in his bedroom, trying his best not to wake anyone up, he couldn’t worry his grandparents over it, they worried enough as was, making unnecessary worry wasn’t good for their age anyways, but it was hard, he would turn his head into his pillow, trying his best to let those cries of pain, be unheard and just make his way through it, as it would go away by morning. Normally only sleeping three hours into those nights.
Though, this past night, he was so frustrated, he just wanted it to stop, he wanted it to stop getting in the way, he knew, he knew that at some point, he had to stop, but he didn’t want to, he wanted to keep going, but soon, soon it was going to be taken away again and he would end up back where he was, the hospital and having to under go the surgery he avoided so he could support his team for this year, but he would hold out, he would hold out for as long as he could, even if he knew the reality, he didn’t care he would sacrifice himself— sure, he had learned to trust in his team for them to do what was needed, but he…he couldn’t just let everything playout from the sidelines, so he was pushing, he was pushing so hard to do what he could.
And here was the end result, though as the pain had stopped and he could finally just freely move again, he wondered how much longer he could hide it, at least from most of the team, but that wasn’t his concern, he just pushed himself to his daily routine, his happy aura showing through his home with his grandparents and carrying on his day.
That cheerful nature he had, bright smile and hearty tone, that he always just put on, so that he could keep things to himself, keep himself moving and keep others from worrying. It wasn’t always a mask, he was a pretty odd and weird person naturally, with a dab of secrets when he had other ideals that were beneficial in mind, but when it came to his leg, when it came to this, he just always hid his true thoughts— almost all the time and in that turn, it was also something else that teared him apart, but for the sake of everything, he would rather crumble then anyone else.
