That reminds me, I have so much stuff left to do. Like, the character and world page stuff is just... there. Oh well, I think at this point I’ll just do it once I’ve caught up with the albums, then I can just cover everything without having to go back to it over and over. Not that I don’t already do that with all the content I’ve posted, really, but keeping track of characters is a truly unholy task. I will most certainly die writing all of that.

Hi! I just wanted to say thank you for all ur hard work on the translations! being able to understand their songs is great TT_TT just wondering, do u know any other j pop bands that have songs like this type? (Like with voice actors and a story)

Hmm, as for other groups like Shoujo Byou… I don’t think I know any that use voice actors… There’s Sound Horizon, which is another pretty known story-driven band (though I don’t know to what extent those stories are connected), but since I still haven’t gotten round to checking them out properly I don’t really know them too well… (I should really really do that, I’ve been interested for ages!)
If anyone knows and/or can recommend similar bands, please share! I’m very curious too!

I’ve heard Touhou arrangements by Kimi no Museum before, but I had no idea they made original – and story-driven!! – music. That really surprised me, and I am definitely going to check them out in the future. Same with Luna-Haze!

Hello! I just have a question about one of the Another Jackets in Legion, who is the sleeping beauty-girl? I don't remember any character like her in the album and she doesn't look like Milia
You mean this one, right?
It’s a really good question, and I’m not totally sure of the answer… but I think it must be Seksalis. It’s easy to forget about her, but she is always there!
There’s still a few problems though – even though her hair’s the same color and cut (though without a ribbon), her clothes are still unlike anything we’ve seen on her before or since. Why she isn’t dressed in her usual clothes is anyone’s guess. Maybe noko wanted to draw something more elaborate on her? Maybe this is before the end of the world somehow?
On the sleeping: we know Seksalis is strongly linked to sleep and dreams; after all, even though she embodies all the memories of the world, she still needs to sleep to actually see them… or so we are told in Giten Seksalis. I always thought of it as a metaphorical or symbolic kind of sleep, but this seems pretty literal. (Why is there such a nice, fluffy bed at the end of the world? A mystery.)
But here’s by far the biggest mystery: just who is standing over her off on the side?? At first glance it looks like Irene’s boots, but the soles here are different. After looking at a few other pictures, my second guess would be that it’s Francheska. We don’t actually have any proper pics of her boots (weird as that is), and the only one we have is the sepia-colored one for the final track, where it looks like the soles of her boots are dark after all? At least the heels are. So it lends some credence to the theory. It’s still incredibly weird, because we know that Francheska throws away everything about herself after this album leading up to Melophobia, so those boots still being a thing at that point is kinda funny. But yeah, symbolic maybe? Maybe.
Again, these are all just guesses. The person in the bed might not be Seksalis. It might be Milia after all, like you said (as unlikely as that seems), and the person on the side might be a character we haven’t even seen yet. It could just be Irene after all… or maybe even Mirleena…? (Will we ever hear about Mirleena again?) Really, the only thing that edges out Francheska as more likely than the others is that her meeting with Seksalis has been foreshadowed in both the bonus track and the Legion special booklet.
Hmmmmm.
I really need a better scan of that jacket. I need to see what’s on the back.

Coming updates
So, how has everyone been enjoying the new album? I’ve been enjoying it a lot, myself! I haven’t seen any scans around, though, so if anyone gets their hands on them and can share them with me, I’d really appreciate it! Also, I’m looking for the Special CD... (and the another jackets)... so any and all contributions are super welcome.
Now, on the update front:
I plan to wrap up Kokkai Epigram this coming week. There’s 3 songs left, so I will post them over the next few days. Finally!
Now, Seigai Melophobia is still next on the list, but I have a lot of work to do on those pages before I can post them (blame all the formatting). It might take a few weeks before I start rolling out those translations, and you know how I am with updates... but I will still do my best.
Lastly... the music posts. No, I never shut up about the darn music posts.
For those that have been on the blog recently, you might have noticed the reorganized sidebar, and the new Audio link there. As the page says, it will be a one-stop hub for the music posts, but because the current audio posts are all dead or playing up, I will re-upload all the currently uploaded songs again. These new posts are 100% guaranteed to work forever and ever -- which is great! Finally. However, some tracks had to really be squashed down to fit under the 10mb limit, so some quality loss is involved... but this is a small price to pay for working audio.
I’ll be uploading albums slowly but en masse, so mind the coming bursts of audio posts! Sorry for the inconvenience, but trust me that this will bother me a lot more than it will bother you!
