1) those two guys don’t know each other at all, they both stopped independently when they saw the kitten

2) they both come to the conclusion that it was abandoned, and seem really distraught and concerned as to how it ended up there

i always think its so wacky that picasso was drawing near lifelike portraits at age 15 and think “wow, thats so crazy. thats a once in a century kind of talent huh” and i never really thought i’d see that kind of kid in my lifetime. but this kid is past where picasso was and hes 4 years ahead of the curve no less.

im really interested to see where this kid goes. this is genuinely incredible. i was thinking about saying “this is so cool” or “this kid is a genius” or something but i feel like thatd be doing him a disservice. this kid is history in the making.

If we followed this logic off tumblr, we would end up crucifying so many authors from George Orwell to Thomas Harris and beyond, and all directors and writers who have made movies that show a graphic scene. The shower scene in American History X? CRUCIFY THEM! The park stabbing scene in Zodiac? CRUCIFY THEM, BECAUSE THEY GET OFF ON IT! Seriously, how can people support this kind of blog policing and pseudo-virtue signalling?

A reminder to writers:

You aren’t annoying for wanting to talk about your work.

Your characters aren’t weird or boring. You created them. They’re perfect.

Being unpublished doesn’t mean you aren’t a writer.

If you takes you 5 years to write a book, you aren’t any less of a writer than someone who took a year and finished.

You can have a life outside of writing. You aren’t cheating on your characters.

Writing can consume your life, and that’s great. If you love it, you love it. Let it define you. It’s amazing.

You don’t have to write a certain genre to be a “good” writer. Just write.

Your work isn’t “bad” because it’s full of cliches. Cliches are popular for a reason. People love them when they’re well-written.

You’re talented.
