obviously, it’s not even a question jeff and daniil both have that chaotic good energy and both are extremely articulate. there’s not a single other tennis player that matches jeff imo

Both girls are entitled to their feelings. Why is that such a strange concept to people. Olivia innocently or not so innocently wrote a song that mentions Sabrina. Yes it was one line but it was pretty clear by anyone who bothered to put two and two together who she was writing about. That doesn’t make her villainous in anyway but it also means that Sabrina is allowed to speak on it. Is she being petty is she being a little mean yeah but she was painted as the villain and while Olivia was the victim. People were acting as if Sabrina wronged her, when she didn’t. I love driver’s license  I also love Skin. I wish the girls could get along and stop fighting over dollar tree Shawn Mendes but Sabrina shouldn’t be getting hate for doing the same thing that Olivia did.

I just finished Minari so here are my thoughts. It follows a Korean-American family as they move to the new farm they bought in rural Arkansas.

This film was heart achingly real and authentic. The plight of this immigrant family was instantly relatable and there was not a single moment of this film that rang false. I loved the performances in this movie, every performance was spectacular. Every single one of them deserve Oscar noms. 

What I loved most was there was struggle and conflict and tension, but there was no villain, there was no bad guy. I felt empathy for each of the characters and identified strongly with their motivations. I understood Monica’s need for security while also wanting Jacob’s dream realized. I connected so deeply with David’s fear of the unfamiliarity and newness of his situation and cheered as Soonja offered this chaotic yet hilarious vibrancy to every scene she was in. Every character felt dynamic and three dimensional. Seeing them try and do their best to find anyplace they could fit was endlessly captivating and almost painful at times. You could tell that this family’s story was crafted with so much love and care and it bled on to the screen during ever frame of it.

Just watched Happiest Seaoson. I know I’m super late but wanted to give my thoughts.

First off, there’s a lot of good and a lot of bad which disappointed me. I loved the initial premise and the set up but it really lost me in the execution. This movie just really should’ve spent some time setting up Abby and Harper’s relationship before they got to her parents house. They tried to show us Harper acting “out of character” without showing us what her actual character was and why Abby wanted to marry her in the first place. That would’ve allowed us as an audience to be far more invested in her character and in her relationship because in the current iteration of this film Harper just comes off as wholly unlikable and half way through I found myself rooting for Abby to get the hell out of there. It wasn’t just the fact that she was closeted and keeping her relationship with Abby a secret but it was the fact that she was treating her in a way that even a friend should never treat someone. Harper continually ignored and pushed Abby away, constantly leaving her alone at parties and gatherings and choosing to spend time with her friends over Abby. What Harper put Abby through was torture and she just appeared extremely obnoxious and insensitive to it all.

I loved Riley and the support she offered Abby, they’re relationship ended up being really sweet and she seemed like such mature calm presence in a sea of crazy and anytime Abby spent with her was really the movie at its best. Overall it was definitely funny and made me laugh I just wish the movie didn’t focus on such and unkind and unlikable main character.

Okay, here me out guys! My headcannon is that Dorothea is taylor’s alter ego and who taylor imagines she would’ve been if she hadn’t found Joe. A woman so intensely focused on herself and her career she is unable to find true happiness with anyone. Each song chronicles a different stage in her life and different failed relationship. This is probably why the saddest, most moddiest, most depressing songs in the album are the one she wrote with “William Bowery”.

I am literally so disgusted. I was ready to root for Dani so hard this season. I thought she could win I still think she has a good chance to do so but this is not a good look at all. This is the exact reason Ian never said anything in his first season. He had such a long conversation with Kaysar today about his fears and traumas that stem from his autism and how he feels like he can’t be himself in the house and then Dani goes and says THIS. Wow I never expected her to say something so truly deplorable.
