It’s okay to speak your mind or leave if a situation makes you feel uncomfortable or unsafe.
Hug your favorite stuffed animal
remember the way you are feeling right now is not permanent
if y'all wanna submit things we can get this blog going again.
Decide you’re good. Tell yourself it’s gonna be ok.
Call somebody important to you
if it's a nice day, go outside and feel the warmth of the sun
do something that gets blood pumping and adrenaline going. Kinda shocks you out of it
listen to emotional music
go outside, even if it’s just right outside your door, or open a window!
Take an ice cold bath (helps if you have something to bite down on)
have a cold lemonade/ice tea or hot cocoa
find a spot of sunlight and just stay there for a moment, focus on the warm feeling it gives you
find a safe spot to listen to music and let yourself space out for a while
Watch something funny
When you feel numb try to take a hot (hot as you can handle) shower or bath. Cold works too. The idea is to have you feel slightly uncomfortable but also feel like you own your body
