Lounging on a couch, chatting away as they watched what was on the television, things almost felt normal to Toshiie. That he hadn’t been taken to some strange ass city and couldn’t see his gang any time he wanted. Well, he’d left them, but they still had followed him to the tournament before he was taken, so...god damn, he still had a soft spot for them.
Nonetheless, he answered the questions Leon had, to an extent, about where he’d come from, how his life was over there, interests and stuff like that. The television didn’t have that many good shows on, but with someone else in the room, well, hell, that felt interesting.
It was then when he felt a pressure against his shoulder, causing him to look over to see Leon falling fast asleep. Toshiie’s expression was indignant at first, but Leon reminded him of one of the ones in his gang, so he had a soft spot, for this time, at least.
Gently reaching to the back of the couch, he’d grab his jacket, carefully laying it over Leon the best he could with the one arm he had free. If he’d moved the other one, he’d risk waking Leon up, and hell, that wouldn’t do.
“Bored you to sleep, huh?”
Still, Toshiie felt himself growing drowsy as well--a nap wouldn’t hurt in the least. He’d lean his head against the other’s and would grumble something before gradually falling asleep himself.

A grin was awarded the other as he listened to her words. Judging on appearances wasn’t really his style, so he’d let the horns and fins and all slide. The last thing he wanted was to get on the bad side of someone complimenting him.
At the mention of an area of water though, one place did come to mind, but he couldn’t remember where the hell it was. Still, he’d at least mention it to her.
“Don’t think there’s a way out just yet, but if you’re looking for waves, there’s a reaaaally old sector that’s completely underwater. I’d have to ask around a bit, but if you’re looking to swim around a bit, I could help you find out where it is.”

Honestly, he’d never thought a snowball fight could be so fun, especially against someone whose reflexes were as good as Rouga’s. They’d both managed to hit each other, and were really into it, grins on their faces, determined not to lose to the other.
“You’re not bad, you know!”
With a laugh, Toshiie would feint, moving in for a close hit with snowball in hand, but that was when something had happened that he really wasn’t expecting. His foot had hit a patch of ice the wrong way, and well, he was definitely falling. And the way he was going, he was taking Rouga down with him.
There was no way he could change direction to stop from colliding with Rouga, but before he landed completely on the other, he’d stuck out a hand, feeling the pavement bite sharply into his hand, and sending a shock of pain right up his arm. Still, by taking this, he prevented his full weight from landing on the other.
Sometimes reflexes were handy.
Looking down at the other, he’d simply shake his head, before he laughed, tossing the crushed remains of the snowball he had in his uninjured hand onto the other’s chest before getting up.
“Haha.....gotcha, didn’t I?”
He’d offer a hand to help Rouga up. Wait...ah, that was his injured hand. With a grimace, he’d offer his other instead.

Thank god he didn’t laugh when Rouga tripped over his own feet in the middle of their sparring match. They were both exhausted, mentally and physically, but they were both too proud to declare themselves losing. His reflexes dulled by fatigue, Toshiie moved to help stop Rouga from falling to the ground, but ended up being knocked down in the process, the other landing right on top of him.
“Tch, you bastard...”
He didn’t mean it, and it was obvious in that case, but it didn’t look like Rouga was hurt much from the fall. Toshiie took the brunt of it, but he didn’t mind, as long as the other was alright.
Still...he tried to shift, then froze. God damn did he hate feeling pinned. He...didn’t feel particularly safe with how the other landed, either, so he had to speak up. When he spoke, it was through gritted teeth. Had he been hurt, somehow?
Yes, yes he had.
“Listen, you. You have three seconds to move your knee from where its at now or I swear I’m going to kick your ass seven ways to next Sunday.”
He knew it was an accident, but accidents HURT. When the other finally moved, Toshiie curled up on his side, cursing under his breath.
“D-damn you, Rouga. That hurt like hell.”
Eventually standing up, he’d roughly punch Rouga’s arm, scowling.
“At least you didn’t get your idiot ass hurt, falling the way you did. Not that I care, after what you gone did. As far as I’m concerned, that was a tie.”
He’d turn to walk away, somewhat gingerly. A few steps, and he’d paused, looking over his shoulder.
“...You hungry after that? Let’s eat--my treat, I guess.”

5. Just sitting there.
Oh thank god it was someone he at least knew. His relief, however, waned the second the door closed and the sudden absence of light made it so that he couldn’t see. He tried to move, but ended up stepping on Dio’s foot, causing them both to curse aloud--one on pain, and the other in apology.
Toshiie knew that Dio would be uncomfortable if anything were to happen, so he just sat down on the floor, grinning in Dio’s general direction.
“Pfft, don’t worry, man. I’m all the way over here. We can chill, right? Hell, I might take a nap!”

2. A long kiss.
Sometimes being too prideful to back down from a challenge can backfire in a way a lot like it was about to. A closed space where Toshiie felt like he was being caged–great.
He let out a sigh as the doors closed, only to catch the scent of alcohol coming from the other. Toshiie was on edge as to what would happen, but the stranger seemed to have ideas in mind. Toshiie couldn’t care less as the other got closer, his mind was focused on surviving the nervousness that being trapped in this space felt.
He didn’t realize what the other was doing until it was too late. In a small space, it was hard to attempt to avoid, and considering his height, it was troublesome to even move, so he’d decided to hell with it, and gave what the other seemed to be searching for. Drunks could be friendly like this, so he’d not hold it against the other.
He’d never really kissed another before, not even his parents, but that didn’t stop him from pushing past his insecurities and moving forward. There was no real emotion there–he’d decided that he’d only do this so he could learn, so that he wouldn’t make a mistake another time he had to do something similar.
His lips were soft against the other’s, and the scent of alcohol was closer, more pungent. It felt strange and foreign to Toshiie, and if it wasn’t such a small space, he may or may not have been able to tolerate this better. And yet he persevered. It was a competition, and he wouldn’t lose.
Eventually though, the other would release them from this kiss, stepping back with a mumble. Grateful for the reprieve, Toshiie would lean back against one of the walls, touching his forehead with his fingertips.
“Sorry I’m not that experienced, man. I figured you’d teach me. I guess I wasn’t wrong about that. Tch…”
