I finished playing the quarry while high last night and I did better then expected.

- none of the camp leaders were killed! (Rip to most of the Hackett family though)

I thought my reaction time would be way slower (tbh it was.) but I knew what to expect so I managed to anxiously get it all correct.

I also witnessed the refrigerator trap scene high for the first time and loved it (Dylan laughing out of relief is relatable but also he’s probably in shock….)

On a super cool note: the game felt SUPER real to me. Like I felt aspects of the surroundings and the background music felt magical (at one point I thought angels must be humming because it was glorious) which really amplified the experience.

10/10 experience!

I have a dedicated save file that I play while I’m high for The Quarry. I already screwed up and totally forgot to hide the syringe as Laura which has totally messed up the relationship with Travis. I was overly distracted by the sound effects of werewolf max and was genuinely concerned because the sounds felt so real to me XD (the save file was a failed attempt at getting all of the clues since I accidentally took the wrong route in shady glade/rocky road option, so I started in chapter 4)

I just laughed when Travis found the syringe….oops officer totally forgot that was in my pocket silly me. (Although I pondered how Laura kept that syringe assumingely in her pocket without stabbing herself accidentally?)

Also when Dylan lost his hand I actually had to pause my game and cry because I felt so bad. And I’ve played this game twice already :(

My suggestions are now open for short- fanfics!

Here are some rules regarding what I WILL and WILL NOT write (plus some preferred ships) I’m open to writing a lot of stuff.

Ship Preferences: Dylan + Ryan, Abi + Emma, Nick + Abi, Jacob + Kaitlyn

I will write: fluff, angst, heavy angst, lgbtq+, possible AUs, Implied Smut, father figure comfort, character death, lore/ canon related, pre/mid canon, after canon, romance, during camp events/ relationship building, animals, infected characters, mental health and neurodiversity, suggested song narrative

I will NOT write: Smut (only implied), any reader x character, no Hacketts x camp leaders, major gore, kinks, Dylan x women,

Essentially, I would love to write things that are fluffy and fun! (Sometimes angsty too, there needs to be a good balance) I would love to hear anyone’s prompt suggestions!

Hello! I’ve really been enjoying the short-form fanfics being posted recently, and it’s really nice to see the amount of creativity it’s spreading.

I have some experience writing long-form fanfics in the past (in middle school lol) but I think it would be fun to try some short-form out!

I haven’t written any fanfics for the quarry characters yet. But I would love to start if folks would be interested :) I’ll make a post soon once my suggestions are open!
