        “Well?” Wanda repeated, eyes meeting with her husband’s, a brow quirked at him in curiosity. She had to think about it for a moment, trying to recall if they had ever been on an actual date. Nothing came to mind and she was left blank. “Not that I can remember.” She replied honestly. “You won’t be bad at it.” There was some relief that Vision was only worried about being bad at dating. Luckily for the pair they were already married and could skip all the weird, awkward steps that came with dating.

Vision blinked at her with mild concern as he waited for her to speak, his brow furrowing slightly. He never wanted to disappoint Wanda in anything, he adored her and only wanted to make her happy. Especially after everything she had been through. “Well…” He considered her words for a moment, before brightening. “If you think so, I’m sure you’re right,” he said comfortably. “We’ll have a lovely time.” He smiled at her sweetly. “Though I’m always just happy to be with you.”

Billy considered the words and part of him was flabbergasted by them. After all, the idea of learning to emote rather then it being something natural was somewhat mind boggling. “Don’t worry about it too much,” he told Vision. “Some people are just like that, robot or not.”

Vision frowned a little. “But I would like to get better,” he insisted. “How can I really protect and help people if I don’t at least begin to understand them? I already know love.” He smiled proudly. Wanda and the boys had helped him understand that one. “A strange one is jealousy,” he said, another little frown coming to his lips. “It seems that those often go together, love and jealousy. But I don’t understand why.”

A little smile touched Vision’s lips as Billy spoke. “You don’t have to do that,” he said. “I suppose I am still learning to emote properly. Seeing you express yourself would actually be rather helpful for me, I think.”

        “Stop fidgeting, you look fine.” Wanda reassured her husband, reaching out to take his hands in hers so that he would stop touching the bowtie around his neck. Letting his hands go, she readjusted it so that it sat straight, rather than crooked. “What’s wrong?” She asked, eye turning up to Vision. “I know it’s not the bowtie.”

Vision nibbled on his lower lip, forcing himself to keep his hands at his sides once Wanda let them go. “Well…” His eyes widened slightly as he looked down at her. “We’ve never really been on a date before, have we?” he said. “Properly. And if I’ve never done it with you, odds are good that I’ve never done it.” He frowned slightly. “What if I’m bad at it?”

Logan simply watches Vision with one brow raised as he focused on the fact the other was levitating. When the man lands, Logan continued to look at Vision with the same look as before. “Logan. And if you just give me a location and a year, I can figure the rest out.” He didn’t like accepting help, specially when he wasn’t very familiar with the person offering it. The older man lowers his hand and retracts his claws as he looks around the room they were in. Still his guard remained on high alert around the other; prepared to strike back at any sign of an attack. “I can stay anywhere, not worried ‘bout that.” He quickly responds back. In fact, Logan already had a list of possible places in his mind; including the woods, some random motel or the X-mansion depending on the current situation. “Good to know. I’ve been through so many fuckin timelines an shit, I think I remember him.” Giving a huff when he realizes he can’t sense any trace of Laura. Logan pauses for an extra minute to think on if he could trust the other enough to make inquiries about her. Finally he decides its worth the shot. “Have ya seen a girl named Laura? Shes ‘bout this tall…” He holds his hand out but far too low for her height, even when he saw her last. “Shes got some rage issues an claws.. like me.”

Vision smiled at him. “New York City, New York,” he answered promptly. “The year is 2021.” He looked at the other for a moment, concern drawing his eyebrows together as he listened to the other speak. “If you’re sure,” he said. He had no doubt the man was entirely capable, but still, it was clear the other was struggling on some level. All Vision wanted to do was help -- it was, after all, essentially what he’d been created for -- but one can only help those who accept it. “Timelines?” he repeated with interest, tilting his head. “How fascinating. Do you travel through time?” He frowned slightly as the other man spoke about a girl. “No, I’m sorry,” he said. “I have not seen her.” He paused, looking over at him. “Is she your daughter?” he asked gently. “I have children myself. Two boys.” He paused. “Or -- I did.”

Pietro heard it in Vision’s tone that hinted at a question of whether he was good enough for his sister. “She wouldn’t have married you and had children with you if you weren’t her type” Was all he said given he had to at least believe that was true. While he was gone his sister had continued to live a life so vastly different than what they used to and he was glad for it even if at times he felt left behind. “Good, I didn’t really get the chance to give you the shovel talk back then” He mused before nodding his head “Yeah I’m sure we could find one, do you have a favorite type of genre of movie?” He questioned when thinking about what they could watch.

Vision smiled softly as Pietro spoke, his expression brightening. “Thank you,” he said. “That means very much coming from you. No one knows Wanda better than you do.” To have Pietro’s approval, or at least his understanding, was very important to Vision. He knew how much Wanda loved her brother, and how much Pietro loved her, and he would never want to come between them in any way. “The shovel talk?” Vision repeated, his eyes widening slightly. “I take it that is some form of intimidation.” He couldn’t help but smile at the thought. As if he would ever do anything to purposely hurt Wanda. All he had to do was stay alive, which, admittedly, he wasn’t always great at doing. “Oh, I like romantic comedies, I suppose,” he said, with a little smile. “They remind me of the sitcoms Wanda likes.”

Soft echos of Laura’s voice whispering ‘daddy’ calls his mind back from the void. His eyes snap open as a deep breath fills his lungs, giving the muscles a much longer stretch than they had in a while. His eyes quickly shift back and forth before a loud grunt emits from his mouth as he gets to his feet. Logan soon came to the realization that he was still alive causing him to be confused and angry. Every action and word was dripping with tension. He began looking himself over the best he could in that moment. Brushing the dirt from the front of his ripped up and stained shirt. “What the fuck?” Next noticing how his hands looked like they were healing faster again. Raising his fists to eye level and taking a moment to stare at them with hate and distrust before extending his claws effortlessly and without the increased pain. A subtle creek in the floor board behind him alerted his attention to the presence of another person. Logan growls loudly as he faced the other, claws ready for the attack. “Who the fuck are you and what do you want?!” @assemlestarter

Vision floated lightly a few inches into the air, although it was too late -- his weight had already set off the floorboard, startling the man in front of him. “I’m sorry,” he said. “I did not mean to frighten you.” He settled gently back onto the floor. “My name is Vision,” he said. “If you are lost, I believe I can help you.” Having what essentially amounted to a computer for a brain provided plenty of helpful avenues. He frowned slightly as he glanced around. “Do you need a place to stay?” he said. “Mr. Stark had apartments available in his building.” He paused, realizing belatedly that not everyone knew who Tony was well enough to rely on his last name for information. “Tony Stark,” he added. “Of Stark Industries.”

Either this man was always on his toes or he was hiding something. Not that Matt could judge, but he was almost positive that this person wasn’t human. But from what Matt could gather, there was nothing to worry about with him. Matt offers a reassuring smile as he takes a sip of his coffee, “I’m sure no one noticed; your charisma definitely outshines it.”

Gesturing to the seat across from him, Matt invites Vision to stay a while.

Vision laughed softly as the man spoke. “You are very kind,” he said, taking a seat across from him. It was clear as he sat down that the man couldn’t actually see him -- which was perhaps ironic, considering he was wearing his human guise, as he often did when he went out in public. People didn’t always react well to what they didn’t understand, and while Vision was harmless and dedicated to doing public good, that didn’t always negate how unusual he looked for some people. “People call me Vision,” he said, which was true. He’d never thought of acquiring a more typical name. “It’s a pleasure to meet you.”

Pietro looked at the other, nodding his head, shrugging his shoulders “did you just ask me if you are my sister’s ‘type’?“ He mused teasing his brother in law after all it was the job of one wasn’t it? “Yes I’m sure people will flirt with you but don’t worry about it, focus only on my sister’s flirtatious nature” He replied honestly as it was probably pretty good that the other wasn’t the best in social interactions like another person will be. “Of course, You can’t get rid of me that easy bro in law, so about this bonding we promised her…any ideas as what to do?”

“Am I?” Vision said, his eyebrows drawing together in concern. He hadn’t even thought of that. One would have to assume he was, since she had married him and created children with him, but now the doubt was there, he couldn't help but feel it. Even a synthezoid wasn’t immune to a crisis of self-esteem. Wanda was a goddess, in his view, who could have anyone she wanted. He nodded as Pietro spoke. “I would not focus on anyone else,” he promised seriously. He brightened then as Pietro spoke about bonding. “Perhaps a movie?” he suggested. “There are many I have not seen.”

Coffee shops are especially known for their bustling atmospheres and this establishment was no different. The baristas dashed around, voices rang out, and conversations floated through the air like the thick scent of espresso. Despite the overwhelming noise from this cafe’s patrons, Matt finds himself having a delightful brew to kickstart his morning. It wasn’t easy being a really good lawyer and protector of Hell’s Kitchen, but he made it work.

“You’re looking pretty dashing this morning,” Matt called over the noise, “Do something different with your hair?”

Vision looked around as he heard the man speak, a soft smile coming to his lips. “Oh, thank you,” he said, running his fingers through his hair. Typically when he walked around the city, he wore a human guise, the easier to blend in. He sometimes forgot that humans had to do things like brush their hair, so he hadn’t thought about it before he left the house. “Oh, well--” He smiled sheepishly. “To be honest, I forgot to brush it before I left the house this morning. I am glad I don’t look like a ragamuffin as a result. Thank you for saying so.”

“This is fascinating, Mr. Quill. Thank you for having me,” Vision said, looking around the spaceship with a wide smile touching his lips. He smiled slightly as Peter referred to Rocket as a trash panda. “Yes, I know what that means,” he said. “That is a colloquial term for procyon lotor, or raccoon, as it is commonly known.” He looked around again. “Perhaps would it be possible for Mr. Stark to join us one day? I know he would love to see this.” Properly on Earth, anyway.

“Guess that will always be like you, huh? Thinking of nothing but the best for us.” Billy mused smiling at how doting his dad always was. He got lucky with the set of parents he had, and yes they were a strange family, but magic and science always were. “Hopefully that remains true, but he’s been pretty amazing as of late. Actually, I prefer the cold weather, it usually means everybody gets to be home and we can all enjoy more time together.”

A soft smile came to Vision’s face as the young man spoke. Especially after everything their family had suffered, it meant the world to him that Billy felt that way about him. “I try,” he said humbly. “It is what a father should do.” He chuckled. “That’s true,” he said. “The cold weather can be very cozy. I suppose that is part of the draw of Christmas. Everything seems so warm and happy at that time of year.”

       Wanda finally felt complete again — Like all the pieces had fallen back into place. Her heart was mended and her lungs had been filled with air once more. Life had been restored to the woman who had become merely a shell of herself in the absence of her soul. Living without Vision wasn’t living at all, it was simply existing. She had been tired of existing for so long. Tears rolled down Wanda’s soft cheeks, staining them as she release all of her grief. There was no need for it to live in her heart any longer, not when the love of her life was standing before her once again. “I missed you more than you will ever know.” She told him, knowing that it was true. Her sorrow had been unfathomable even for her. As the tears continued to fall, her smile broke through. Wanda’s eyes didn’t once leave Vision’s out of the fear that if she looked away she may never see them again. They had been given so many chances, and now another. With this one she would make sure nothing happened to him. “Please don’t leave me again.” She whispered, leaning in to kiss him.

Vision reached up to caress her cheek, catching a teardrop with the pad of his thumb. He was, technically, capable of producing tears, but he had yet to weep -- at least not in this form. But watching Wanda cry, knowing that he had been, at least inadvertently, the cause of her distress, made his throat ache as if he might cry himself. “I won’t, I promise you,” he said, although he was not entirely sure how he could keep that promise. It wasn’t as though he’d intended to leave her before. He slipped his arms around her waist, drawing her closer as she leaned in to kiss him, pressing his lips against hers. “I am right here,” he murmured, his mouth brushing against hers as he spoke. “I will do whatever I have to do to stay with you.” He brightened a little as something occurred to him. “I have seen Billy,” he said. “We went for ice cream.” He paused, considering. “Well -- of course, I did not have ice cream. But it was nice to sit with him while he enjoyed some.”

Vision stared at the young man, entirely unsure if he was putting him on or not. It was always very hard for him to tell. “No,” he said blankly. “Circumspect means wary and unwilling to take risks,” he said. His frown only deepened as Mike kept talking about circumcision. “It reduces bacteria,” he said. “And in some cultures it is a religious ceremony.”

         “Good.” A wave of relief flooding over her. Ultron was a problem she hoped that she had gotten rid of forever. There was no absolutes in life, not even death as Wanda had come to find herself. Ultron could always return. Vision came up with a better excuse for Tony not telling her than any she could have come up with. Their wasn’t the same mutual love for Tony between herself and Vision that there was between herself and Tony for Vision. When it came to Iron Man she assumed his reason were never motivated to help her. Not after he called her a weapon of mass destruction. Looking back he had been right, but that didn’t make the statement hurt any less. “I won’t.” She promised him, only really caring about how the repercussions could fall back on Vision. Wanda watched his hand move closer, her body reacting with goosebumps as his touch neared. Her head nodded slowly before her mouth could move to respond. Reaching her own hand up, she held his, guiding it to her cheek. Closing her eyes, she smiled. An overwhelming rush of emotion came over her and she could no longer hold back the tears. “I can feel you.” She chocked out the words as tears rolled over her cheeks.

Vision smiled softly, relaxing. He knew that Tony and Wanda didn’t often see eye-to-eye, something which certainly aggrieved him a little, but he understood why Wanda wasn’t particularly fond of Mr. Stark. But he was, and he didn’t want Tony to think that he in any way doubted his abilities. Vision smiled again as Wanda guided his hand to press against her cheek, a soft sigh falling from his lips. It felt like it had been a very long time since he had been close to her like this, and he had missed it. “And I can feel you, my darling,” he said, reaching his free hand up to caress her cheek before moving to tuck a strand of her copper hair behind her ear. “I missed you more than I can possibly put into words.” He smiled a little. “The way I feel about you is one of the few things that I can recall from before,” he said. “I still remember the first time I saw your face. It was the very first I ever saw.”

“Dad, are you sure you want to go to an ice cream shop? I still feel kind of bad if it’s me just eating,” Billy said always the worrywart when it came to his parents feelings. The young witch had always wanted his father to feel normal and to know that synthezoid of not he would always and only see him as the man who loved and protected him. “I can always get a strawberry shortcake sundae somewhere else? Unless you have some news to tell me and are trying to soften it with ice cream? Oh god what did Tommy do now?”

Vision smiled softly as his son spoke, shaking his head. “I don’t mind,” he said. “Even though I can’t eat it, I’m happy to sit with you while you enjoy yours.” He laughed lightly and shook his head. “No, no, it’s nothing like that,” he promised. “As far as I know, your brother hasn’t done anything. I just thought a treat would be nice now that it’s getting warmer outside. I understand that is a common practice, to eat a cold treat when the weather improves.”

Pietro was trying to get to know the…. “Person” that his sister was madly in love with. “Well I’m sure Wanda would want you to take whatever form that pleased you, and in considering your appearance now, well surely you aren’t strapped for compliments when it comes down to it. Not even a pretty shiny ring seems to keep people away.” He mused before shrugging “I haven’t figured it out yet but I know she needs me…both of us so I’ll do anything in my power to ensure that I stick around.” He replied honestly he had no plans of ever leaving his twin alone ever again.

Vision smiled softly as Pietro spoke. “I think she likes this one,” he said, though a little frown of uncertainty pulled his eyebrows together. What if she didn’t actually like it, and she was just being polite? He understood people were disingenuous, especially at times when it came to protecting their loved one’s feelings. His head tilted slightly. “Am I not?” he said. “I am terribly inept when it comes to most forms of social interaction, but especially ones that may be construed as flirtatious in nature.” Part of it was that it was difficult to learn that sort of thing all at once, but more than anything, he simply didn’t see anyone else that way but Wanda. He smiled softly. “I’m sure we will both do what we must to stay with her.”
