I’m done being scared. I’m done living in a world where I don’t get to be who I am. I deserve a great love story. Disclaimer: this is about to get romantic as F, so anyone adverse to gratuitous feelings kindly click over to the Buzzfeed quiz or resume the porn you paused to read this. This guy that I love once wrote that he felt like he was stuck on a Ferris wheel. On top of the world one minute, at rock bottom the next. I couldn’t ask for more amazing friends, a more understanding family. But it would all be so much better if I had someone to share it with. So, Blue… I might not know your name or what you look like. But I know who you are. I know you’re funny and thoughtful. That you choose your words carefully and that they’re always perfect. And I know that you’ve been pretending for so long that it’s hard to believe you can stop. I get it. Like I told you in the very beginning, I’m just like you. So, Blue… after the play, Friday at 10:00, you know where I’ll be. No pressure for you to show up, but I hope that you do. Because you deserve a great love story too.

just a quick poem with a few references from Philippine legal concepts. in the end, lady justice swings her sword even through natural obligations.

“People are bound to make mistakes such as cheating. No one is perfect and at some point in your relationship you'll do something intentionally that will hurt the one you love. Not because you don’t love them, but because you’re only human. 

And if you do cheat, don’t ever blame your partner. No matter how fucked up your partner is, be the better person. If you don’t love them anymore or cant provide your emotional needs, then leave. Also, don’t hide your mistakes. Remember that they’ll eventually find it out anyway. 

Tell him/her all the details of your cheating and the reason behind it. Don’t let your partner stay awake all night wondering where she/he went wrong, or how did it happen, or who you cheated with. Help them heal by telling them the truth. 

Lastly, build up their confidence again. Being cheated on can really destroy one's confidence and make them insecure about themselves. Once they see that you just made a mistake and that your love and intentions are real, that is when they’ll start to trust again.
