Frustration || Henry → Yubin
There were very few things new about her other then her love for her computer, most saw her as a geeky girl, with a passion for food and she didn’t mind. But there were some things, that made her forgot about the world. Dancing. She hadn’t done it often but she enjoyed it, certain types more then others. Hiphop and modern were two very good favorites of hers. Today she was working some chero for a show. The song was a sleek one, sexy and inviting. There was no problem at all with song in her eyes
Swaying her hips, she let the music take her, the steps were light and simple and focused more on her facial expression, she turned and hipped, the sweat slowly pouring down her face, this was what she loved. Again there was a pause in the beat and she swung to the floor, licking her lips. She thought she heard the door open but she didn’t care, this was her time.
Henry was mesmerised by the way she moved her body, and he couldn't bring himself to look away. He knew that somewhere this was considered creepy, considering the fact that he had dropped everything to simply stare at this girl dancing. However, because she was dancing, it couldn't really be considered creepy, because he was just admiring another performer and her works of art. And by works of art, he meant her body, but no one needed to know that, it was a minor detail.
He wanted to say something, but he wasn't sure what to say. So instead, he continued watching, however, his eyes were no longer trained on the dance routine, no, they were trained on something much more beautiful. The way her body moved was so... Inviting. And yet, he wasn't quite sure who -- or what -- she was inviting.

Melissa smiled to the ceiling as she laid on her bedroom floor pointing her toes up to the ceiling as she looked at her phone. They met. They flirted. Melissa even managed to dance for him and not mess up. Even better, she gave him her number without a glitch after they went for coffee. She was proud of herself and all she had to do is wait for him to call.
It rang. She answered. “Hello?” Melissa asked the caller eagerly then sighed. “Hey Jiyeon,” Melissa replied to her friend and laughed as she told her the scoop the Melissa sat up. She ran her fingers threw her hair and hummed as the other talked “Me? Waiting on a call from Henry. I don’t know. Ha. Ani, no love just crushes…” she goes on until her phone notes her of an oncoming call. “Bye, Jiyi Bae. It might be him,” she says smiling switching lines.
Henry was settled at the desk in his room, his laptop positioned in front of him. He was having a skype call with his mom back home in Canada, but because of the timezones, she was just about ready to be heading to bed.
"Goodnight mom, I love you." He smiled, and waved goodbye before their video call finally ended, and he sighed. It was hard, living half way across the world from your family, and there were some days when Henry just wanted to pack his things and move back home.
"I wonder.." He said off handedly before pulling out his phone and dialling a number. "Melissa? Hey, yeah, are you busy?" He asked. He was bored and figured that he might as well go out with a friend to pass the time. Besides, he really liked hanging out with Melissa -- she kind of reminded him of his younger sister back home.

Letters and Skype Calls [Past] || Henry → Jiyeon
Her chocolate colored long hair was spread through the soft mattress as she decide to close her eyes for just a second, it was getting pretty late in the evening and though it wasn’t unusual for the petite girl to stay up the entire night, she was pretty tired from the events that took place earlier that day. Sailing to celebrate her newest accomplishment was like a family tradition, one that couldn’t be abandoned in such a special occasion, and perhaps her head was still a little heavy from the insolation.
She wasn’t following her older brother’s steps, Jiyeon wouldn’t be a graduating of Seoul National University majoring law and succeeding their father in the police department like her brother planned to. The younger girl would do better, perhaps, because their relationship had always felt like some kind of competition and despite of what other people said, they had never ‘grown out of it’, it wasn’t just a childish argument how they didn’t get along very well.
And the petite woman couldn’t help but let a soft smile dance across her reddish lips to bright up her features when the familiar sound of a message being received echoed through the environment. Henry was the only person to ever message her at that hour and probably the only one who she’d pour her heart onto every conversation, he was easy to talk to and though Jiyeon wasn’t quite sure of how the older craved his way through her routine and it felt like something was missing if she spend just a day without talking to him or at least leaving him a message. He was probably the only one she’d ever lose a night of sleep for.
Shifting through her bed, the girl gently tapped on her laptop’s keyboard to unlock the screen in order to quickly type in a response, she didn’t want to fall asleep on him like had happened the night before the last, it always made her embarrassed whenever that happened.
Hello to yourself, missing me already, huh?
Jiyeon chuckled at her the sight of her own words, she couldn’t be any sleepier or more retarded now could her? And somehow, Henry was in between the only ones she didn’t mind knowing that other and softer side of her personality; a complete contrast comparing with the usual disinterested façade she always pulled out for the strangers.
Funny thing is that I do have good news as well! However, let’s be respectful and let the elders do the talking first haha.
What is it the ray of sunshine you wished to tell me?
One of the reasons Jiyeon thought she felt so comfortable in talking to Henry was because it was almost always through typing, writing, and during most of her teenage days she’d rather those to talking, even if she had great speech skills, writing words seemed always more appealing to her. And she wouldn’t embarrass herself by laughing it off if the atmosphere of the call seemed awkward somewhat.
Henry grinned like an idiot at her message. He took his laptop from the desk and moved to sit on the middle of his bed, the laptop placed on the mattress in front of him. Supper was well over an hour ago, so Henry was free to spend the rest of the night in his room where he would sit and chat with Jiyeon until whenever she would pass out. He was used to it happening, and found it rather cute how she tried her hardest to stay up longer just so they could talk.
Alright well, are you ready for some big news?
Because I don't think that you are.
He typed while grinning like an idiot. He was all too excited and knew that he was going to be able to sleep tonight.
I'm moving to Korea soon!
Like, really soon.
I think it's in less than a month to a month soon.
He only hoped that she was going to be as excited as he was because he remembers how they used to talk about him moving to Korea or her to Canada so that they could meet and actually spend time together.
Canada was great and all, but Henry needed to get away from home. Home was filled with too many bad memories that he felt as though moving away and starting a new could do him some good. Move to a place where no one knew him and of his past, it was perfect. He would no longer be known as the kid who's dad got arrested for child abuse and various other charges he wished not to speak of.
I'm so excited for this, you have no idea.
Because now, we finally get to meet each other.
Isn't that exciting?
We're finally getting what we've always dreamed of.
However, her silence and lack there of showing that she had been typing was putting Henry off. Normally by now she would have said something, and especially since it was something as big as this...
Maybe she's already fallen asleep. Yeah, that's probably what it was. It wasn't uncommon for the young woman to fall asleep early on into their chats, considering what time it must be over there.

Melissa was ready to bury herself. She neglected to acquire the name, nevertheless the gender, of the captain, but as she re-examined him she saw it. He was the boy everyone was flocked around and went to after practices. Melissa was more reclusive after practice and never flocked during precious dance time, but in this moment she regretted that.
She bowed quickly again and flushed. “I remember that now. Mianhae, Captain,” Melissa told him scurrying to the door nervously, then stops. Running wasn’t what she wanted. Henry was cute and charming. Melissa convinces her self to turn back to him and bites her lip out of habit. “Quick check, do you want any coffee? I know it may be weird for a freshman to ask her captain out, but I kind of still want too,” she told him.
Henry smiled and shook his head, waving a hand dismissively at her. "Don't worry about it, really." He said with a smile. Not everyone was as social as the next guy, it was only normal that not everyone was going to know who he was.
"..." He couldn't help but grin at her sudden request. God, was she ever cute. "Sure, I'd love to go to coffee with you sometime." He said with a hum in his voice, sitting comfortably on the ground still. "When are you free next?" He really liked Melissa and didn't want this to be their last conversation together. In fact, he wanted to keep seeing her after today, even if it was just to hang out and be friends. Henry could settle for being friends, definitely.
Frustration || Henry → Yubin
Henry had been on his way to dance practice when he heard music coming from the dance studio. Today was one of those days where the studio was opened for first come first serve. However, as many people that showed up that wished to use it were allowed, they simply had to plug in their own music if they wished to dance to what wasn't on the stereo.
He opened the door and let it shut behind him, his eyes fixed on the girl moving on the dance floor. The way she moved her body was like nothing Henry's ever seen before, and he can't help but stare. He knows that staring is rude, but it can't be considered rude when you're simply admiring someone else's work, right? Wrong. However, Henry didn't care at this particular moment, his sense of judgement clouded by the girl's body and they way it moved.
He placed his bag down on the studio floor and took a seat next to it, his eyes trained on the movement of her legs and her hips and just... everything. He was completely mesmerized by the girl.
The Woman in Black || Henry → Chiaki
It was late on a Friday night, so naturally Henry had taken to the city. Classes were out, and he felt like a million dollars. He was dressed nice enough for the bar scene, sporting a casual pair of jeans, t-shirt and a snapback. Henry wasn't one for fancy, and so, owned nothing of the sorts.
It had to of been around midnight for sure when Henry found himself walking the not so empty streets. It came as no surprise to him anymore, considering that Friday nights back home were constantly busy too.
Henry grew up in Toronto, and so, was used to walking around with caution. His hands were in his pockets, gripping his phone and wallet for safe measures. He didn't know how good of pickpockets the Korean's could be, but he knew the kids back home were phenomenal.
And so, his steps were quick and careful as to not draw attention to himself, because if there really was someone out tonight, he was most certainly going to be their prime target. He looked around him to see that almost everyone else was walking in pairs, and that's when it dawned on him that perhaps he should have left the bar with someone else.
Despite how cautious he had been all night, Henry was starting to feel tired and felt that taking a short cut back to the university was a good idea. And so, he took a left turn down an alley way -- one that he's walked many times before at various times of the day, and had yet to have a problem with it.
Tonight was different than those other nights however. Henry soon heard footsteps and obnoxious whispers trailing close behind him, and that's when he sighed to himself. He should have known better. He kept with his current pace, not wanting to address the group that was behind him, because really, he just wanted to get home, throw on one pyjamas and crack open one last beer before he called it a night.
He kept walking, but their footsteps got louder, closer. Henry gulped, and pulled his hands from his pockets, because he knew that if he had to, he was going to need his fists. He didn't dare turn around though, figuring it was better to not know just how many of them were behind him. Though, knowing what you were going to be going up against was always a good thing to know too, and so, he cocked his head to the side to see if he could get a better look at them, and found that it was a group of at least four of them.
"Well shit." He muttered under his breath, and wondered why he had to take the alley with all of the twists and turns. Sure, it was definitely a short cut back to the university than walking main street, but walking main street seemed like such a good idea right about now.
