This is the way we’ve always done it here
In order to improve we must accept our ideas or solutions are not the best. They should always be data driven and not gut driven or this is not the way we do things here driven. Because if that happens you engineer a culture that is prone to complacency. Sometimes we must do the hard things in life, shortcuts don't always workout in long term and often comes back to bite you in the ass, when you least expect it.
Evolution of SEO
I have been doing this for a while now, in fact over three years as bill paying profession, and seven years as a hobby. I've noticed few things, maybe it's just me. But, SEO has changed significantly over the years, that's without a doubt. So, it's inevitable that we change too, as failure means we become dinosaurs. I had my end of year development review with my line manager recently, which forced me to really think about this for a while. What do I want to be next. I'm not changing where I work! I'm changing the way I work. I'm changing what I will be working on future. I really believe if you want to be an online marketer one needs to have a wider skills set and not just knowing SEO. For the new year I'm putting more emphasis on inbound marketing, as this is something I'm very passionate about. Knowing SEO has provided me with opportunities to experiment, and in my view inbound marketing will play crucial part in shaping businesses in future. 2015 will be the year of change, I cannot wait to get started with new exciting projects. They will form the blueprint of future success.
A Product Lead Approach
One thing I really admired about Steve Jobs was that he made Apple a product driven company, not a tech/Dev or marketing driven. This is the difference between Dell and Apple. I've seen companies get shaped by politics and departments. In my view that is a fundamental flaw which will affect growth. No amount of analysis or board meeting will fix that. There are two types of people in this world, those who want to get shit done, and those who will put a stop to a task because the correct form wasn't filled in. Please don't be a douchebag. Meetings and complaining don't solve problems. People getting on with their job solves problems. Stop complaining and starting doing. And all that starts with right culture, attitude and strategy.
One Last Thing...
I'm done with Apple. I've been a loyal fan since the inception of the original iPhone. First the live event stream was really bad, in fact it was terrible. I don't think I've witnessed anything worse than what I've just witnessed. Two songs playing at the same time, Chinese and Japanese voice dubbing. Apple TV crashing every 30 seconds. What happened Apple? iPhone 6, nothing surprising here. iPhone tablet, really Apple? Apply Pay, no thanks, I can't even trust you with my pictures. And Apple Watch, what can I say, I feel like this was something designed when Ive was smoking e-cigarette. I'm done. Nexus 6, you're my only hope.
The Promise Land
Everyone and their grandma has an opinion about the upcoming Scotland referendum, I think. I want to add mine to this great repository of opinions. Both side have been on attack mode since the beginning, fuelled by the media. I really don't believe in this. Fear will not solve problems, and the promise of further devolution should not be the turning vector for Yes voters. However, I do not wish to generalise everyone here, and I'm sure some people do need facts and figures to decide. But, in my opinion the argument should be about how one feels. I am British with Bangladeshi origin. This is me. I'm British first, this is how identifying myself. Do you feel in contentment with what you have or do you want the promise of more things. Because, we all know how promises go when it comes from a politicians. What we have now is tangible, what is being promised depends on many variables. I want Scotland to remain part of the United Kingdom. As my as I hate Irn-Bru, I think you guys o'right!

Samsungs Strategy
You do the R&D, We'll do the coping. If you sue, well countersue with nonsense and when everything is exhausted we'll settle and pay up. Great artist inspire, greater artist steal.
If You Are Not Getting Rejected, You Are Not Trying Hard Enough
I’ve probably done dozens of interviews now, and got rejected many times. For me it was a sign that I was applying for the right jobs. Ask yourself this, do you want to carry on with what you are doing? If yes, than why are trying to move?
For me I didn’t want to carry on with what I was doing, I wanted to do something more exciting, more challenging. I knew I had that potential to do that job well, I just had to prove it to them.
I believe if you are getting rejected you’re on the right track. Don’t get me wrong, from each rejection I learned something new. You have to tweak the formula each time a bit, it’s kind of like A/B testing.
