No one is conservative! Steve Jansen on Twitter most definitely is not lol, he is very silly on there. Sylvian reposts a lot of political things or posts about animals on his story. Bauhaus doesn't have anyone conservative either? The only concern is Daniel Ash's weird health care beliefs. Umm he has an unlicensed doctor but things such as regular human rights he is cool.

Well... he probably did delete it because I did look through his social media to find nothing new. I only got a glance at the photo since I do not indulge in reddit. I really hope he is doing well though. No one deserves to be in bad health.

I have not seen the one posted today. Although I have seen him recently. It is indeed heartbreaking to see him so weak. I hope his health is not too horrible... unfortunately I cannot even promise myself that he is fully alright :(

hello! i saw that you answered to an ask on your page before from someone concerned about their friend writing disturbing fanfics. i’m sending an ask because i’m in the same position!

i talk to this friend of mine quite often. i am not a bauhaus fan myself but it is one of their special interests, so we talk a lot about it and they write short fanfics on ao3. mostly harmless smut. however they pitched me their most recent idea.

and i really want to stop it from being written. i they plan to write about peter murphy murdering a girl daniel ash is dating in an attempt to have him for himself, and then daniel ash being turned on by the act. i told them i didn’t like the idea and that it’s messed up, but they said since they’re an adult they can write what they want.

if we can’t see eye to eye on this i will stop seeing them and block them on everything, but i don’t want this fanfiction to be written. please give me advice

If they use scottish english immediately drop that person. If they're a nin fan I am so sorry... I honestly find that topic to be disrespectful. Most people forget that these are still real people with dignity. I would probably explain how you are uncomfortable with that topic. Then you can try and agree to stop talking about disturbing fan fiction. Or if the person does not want to do that, I would set your boundaries clear. You do not have to take other people's wrong behavior and deal with it. It is your free will to stop a friendship when it gets uncomfortable. So, talk to the person, then decide if it's time to give up or not.

Hi! I decided this would be better as a topic to ask to a Bauhaus fan: I am a mother to a three year old girl, a few weeks ago she heard “Bite My Hip” because of a video her 12 year old cousin was watching, which she started singing so I found the song online and have been playing it for her.

She also really likes “Some Faces” and often talks about wanting to listen to this band. I enjoy listening to these songs with her, but I’m more of a pop girl so I’m not really familiar. I never even heard of them until recently! So since you’re a Bauhaus fan could you give any song recommendations that might be enjoyable and appropriate for a 3 year old? Awww starting them young i see! That's very adorable and an awesome cousin. I believe Bauhaus has some more family friendly songs. Although I cannot trust everything is completely appropriate (lyrics may insinuate stuff but are mostly too complex for a 3 year old to pick up on).

For Japan I really love State Line. David Sylvians voice on that song makes me fall in love. I think the whole Adolescent album feels so teenager, since they were young adults, but I love the feel!

Bauhaus has some great songs too. I think the first song I really loved was She's In Parties. I do enjoy Some Faces, or just the whole Bela session.

Hi! I hope you are having a nice day/night depending on your time zone, good sir. I listened to almost all Bauhaus’s discography, but I haven’t listened to Go Away White. I don’t actually know if that’s the real title. I forgot. Is it worth listening to? I don’t know any tracks from it and I don’t have a lot of free time, my job is extremely hands-on and usually takes up over half of a day. To add a reference point: My favorite Bauhaus song is “Harry.”

While it's not my all time favorite album from them they have some good songs off of it. I think when you get home to relax it's worth putting it on while you do a hobby. My personal favorite song from that album is Adrenalin.

I just read a Bauhaus fanfic and it was the grossest fucking fanfiction I’ve ever read. Horrific stuff. Apparently I am too dumb to properly read what a fanfiction is about. what Kind of controversy does David J Haskins have? Look i looked on google “david J controversy bauhaus” I can’t find anything so Im just looking at the first Bauhaus blog that answers asks, why does everyone hate him so much what did he do wrong :( and is his brother ok?

I love David J and I honestly don't think he has controversy? People love to look past him and shove him aside for being "just the bassist" but he is genuinely such a great musician. Too many people are obsessed with looks rather than musical abilities. Kevin Haskins is honestly the sweetest of Bauhaus, very lovely drummer too.
