Lusha Considine Taran: Lusha is a fox hybrid. She uses a sun hat to cover her orange ears. Orange hair, gold eyes. She cut her hair to her shoulders after running away from her noble family. Lusha always wanted kids and gets married to Duke Faolan Taran of the Veren Kingdom.
Faolan Taran: wolf hybrid. He’s a duke in the Veren Kingdom. He adopts his brother’s child due to their wish to travel. He takes over as the child’s father and is very responsible. He isn’t very outwardly affectionate. However, he tries to show that his wife and children are loved.
Larkin Taran: older brother, wolf hybrid. He isn’t very attached to his birth parents, calls Faolan his father. He likes Lusha, respects her and his younger sisters. He isn’t very close to his youngest sister but he gets along with Darcy, as they’re the same age.
Myrna: younger sister. Fox-wolf hybrid. Very close with her twin sister, Bridie. Close with Lusha but favors Faolan. Quiet personality, later becomes a knight. Dark hair with yellow eyes. Gets along well with Darcy, they often go horse riding together or train. More of a swordsman than an archer.
Bridie: younger sister. Fox-wolf hybrid. Very close with her twin sister, Myrna. Is close with Lusha. Happy and bubbly personality, very soft and sweet. Later marries and is a home maker. Orange hair with red eyes.

Malika Silva: a merchant's daughter. Met before Darcy's engagement, where they met on the Taran family's grounds. Darcy and Malika became close quickly.
Azalea Rosenthal: daughter of Duke Rosenthal of the Veren Kingdom. She has healing powers. Has a brother four years younger. Goes by Aster as a nickname. Darcy and Azalea are childhood friends.
Elijah Pyrus: son of Count Pyrus of the Veren Kingdom. A fire magician, he's fun and respectful, a gentleman. He is engaged to Sophia Ascart, has feelings for her and her brother Nicole. Met Darcy at a party before her engagement, they became good friends.
Sophia Ascart: daughter of Count Ascart. They met once during a party, where Darcy helped her to a resting room. They bonded over romance books and became penpals.
Rozion Lindgren: Childhood friends with Darcy. They would spar or go sight seeing/horseback riding.
Silva Bastide Lindgren: Childhood friends with Darcy. The often sparred and spent time together along with Rozion.

Keith Claes: son of Duke Claes. Has strong Earth powers. Younger sisters are Carina and Jaylin Claes. He meets Darcy for the first time at fifteen where their engagement is established and she moves to live with his family and learn the ropes of the territory. They gradually grow closer as they work together and eventually enroll in the Magic Academy.
Extras
Gerald Stuart: Acquaintances, met during childhood. Thought she was interesting, along with her little sister (Myrna). They went horseback riding often. She brought him to a tall tree and climbed it with him, just to show him the view from above.
Alan Stuart: Acquaintances, met during childhood. Went horseback riding with him a few times and played a violin-piano duet with him. They sparred sometimes and competed, this cooled down as they got older and Darcy focused on her family and her role as eldest daughter.
