Chapter 2- Tony does it differently.

Grey blazer, shows that you're professional.
A darker grey skirt, sophisticated. Black pumps? Classy.
Hair tied up. Business.
She was Sophisticated Business, Classy Business, and most important Business Ready.
A quick smile at the mirror and straightening of the jacket.
Grabbing a clutch and a click of keys she headed out for the interview.
*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚ *✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚:
A high-rise building complex in Manhattan one of the tallest buildings with the letter "A" on it.
Wonder what that could be? Avengers Tower formally Tony stark industries.
Seraphina entered the building she was so stunned turning around and admiring the room was every shade of grey, from washed-out concrete to almost steel-blue.
She notices a lady walking out."Maybe she was just interviewed" she thought; shoulder-length red hair and business casual outfit. Seraphina observed the lady as she continued to stride she stopped in front of her.
"Are you ok?" The lady asks.
Seraphina snapped out of the daze. blinking for a bit and looking up the lady.
Before saying a word to the redhead she decided to read her mind.
"Pepper Potts" she mutters.
"uh yeah, that's me." Pepper little confused smiles.
"You used to be assistant for Tony."
"I still sort of am" Pepper pauses and looks at Seraphina.
"Right well I'm here for the interview for the avengers? As a whole." Seraphina states clutching onto her bag strap that was resting on her shoulder.
"Oh, of course, would you like me to show you where you need to go?" Pepper offers to guide her hand out to lead the way.
"If you wouldn't mind Mrs. Pots." Seraphina laughs nervously.
She had to make a good impression on Mrs. Pots she knew she and Mr. Stark were in a relationship. Seraphina could even get some assistance tips from Pots and she was sure they were going to have to talk and set up meetings and etc together.
Pepper smiles walking to the elevator there was also sleek metal stairs that looked like they have never been touched. Which was probably true since there was an elevator. Seraphina did imagine maybe Thor took the stairs. She smiled thinking of the Hulk too taking the stairs.
Obviously with the two girls in heels going up the stairs would be studious. The elevator had white marble walls, a blue carpet, a silver handrail, and no buttons. Pepper held her fingers against a little glass panel. A sensor reads her fingerprints, verified them, and activated the elevator. The doors slid shut and the elevator rose to the seventieth floor without stopping.
"So what made you want to be assistant for the Avengers?" She asked breaking the silence between the two.
Seraphina looking at the floor now looked back up at Pepper.
Seraphina cleared her throat looking at Pepper and spoke: "Uh I love how hardworking and dedicated the Avengers are to their job because I know I will be just as dedicated and hard-working as them."
She was waiting for a response from Pepper nervous about what she should have said and whether what she said was good enough.
The Lady laughed.
"What is it?" Seraphina questioned the redheaded now even more nervous about her answer.
"You remind me of myself on my first day." She smiles and begins to speak again.
"I was so prepared and ready for the job and excited too."
"Just like you."
Seraphina smiles again "I'm sure you were-" interrupted by Pepper again.
"I even rehearsed the Answers to the questions that Stark may have asked me." She laughed looking back at the old memory.
"But trust me, no need for the typical interview. Tony does it differently." She looked at a visibly confused girl.
"You'll do great." She reassured the girl patting her on the back and heading right while Seraphina headed left to Mr. Stark's office.
Seraphina paused outside of the office staring at the dark oaken door which had a gold Tony Stark name imprinted into it.
Taking out her papers from her bag and a deep breath to calm her nerves she knocked onto the door.

Chapter 1- Assist these mighty heroes!
*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚ *✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚: *✧・゚:*✧・゚:
The eatery was packed. I glanced around at the occupied tables. An old couple eating side by side, one glassful of wine each, studiously bent over their meals. A gathering of young women in their thirties collapsing with careless giggles as a rigid woman dining alone nearby looked on and frowned. Businessmen in their grey suits reading the daily newspaper. American tourists, trying to decipher the menu. The noise level was loud. But it didn’t bother me. I was used to it.
Carrying my tray of drinks I look out at New York’s streets. Polished heels clicked the pavement along with other businessmen. Cars raced along with the people on the pavement. People were right when they said the city that never sleeps. No one seems to stop and relax.
Seraphina continued to Daydream looking from outside the small cafe.
"Sera what do you think you're doing?!?" Chef Fred shouted. Fred wasn't a typical chef in that he was skinny, surprisingly so. Yet in other ways, he was exactly like any chef. His opinion was always, the right one. No one else could have a valid point if it wasn't consistent with his own.
Seraphina wasn't listening when she placed the tray of drinks down to the closes table and wandered outside almost as if she was hypnotised something has caught her eye. You could hear Fred’s growling and huffing still as he threw the item he was holding not caring if it broke.
Her hand reached for the Advertisement page stuck to the pole. It showed the Avengers on it a group filled with American's greatest Heroes; hell she would even say the world's. It has been two years since Avengers saved the world well they saved New York but defiantly could have spread.
She idolised them since. You see Seraphina had powers of her Magic it consist of Empathy, Light magic, Telepathy, and some more. She always thought no one else had it and decided to keep it to herself. But when that day came and she looked outside the Cafe and saw... them. The avengers with there superpowers fighting bad and saving the good.
She felt butterflies in her stomach. It was like a little kid walking inside a candy store and being told they could have whatever they wanted.
She was now just outside of her cafe. Looking at the page "Now hiring for the Avengers tower needing assistant will you be the one? to Assist these mighty heroes!" Looking at the bottom of the page she ripped a number off the page.
Turning her head side to side she decided to tear all the numbers off. Seraphina wanted this so badly. More than wanted it was needed she needed to know what she could do with her powers she needed to feel included or relate to some sort of person. This would be Magical a whole group of people who were just like her. She dreamt of a day like this... she always dreamt of a day like this.
It wasn't exactly what she dreamt of. She pictured herself side by side with the heroes but she has to think realistically.
After grabbing all the numbers making sure no one else could take one she headed back inside to the cafe. By now Fred was boiling with anger screaming and shouting at her but yet again she had no emotion.
The brown-haired peered up at the TV. She heard Captain America's voice. "Do you want to help us?" He said as usual in a proud confident way in his iconic American printed outfit. Before he could say anything else Seraphina had already changed the channel. gaining some groans from the customers.
There was no way anyone else could get this job. She knew other people around New York would see the advert but if she could Limit the competition the girl for sure would.
Her beige pumps strolled along the cafes wood floor then, she undid her apron and slammed it on the bench up with Fred.
The girl beamed a bright smile showing all her pearly whites.
"That's it!" She shouted.
"I'm quitting!"
Fred's expression was priceless. Seraphina giggled with her smile at the look and wish at that moment she could take a picture. She knows for sure she'll never forget that face he did that afternoon.

Hopping into her car and driving home was the best feeling.
Did she just quit her job?
Yes.
Was it a good idea quitting?
Not at all.
Did she have a backup plan if the Avengers didn't hire her?
No.
Did she have faith in getting the job?
Yes. yes, she did.
