Been meaning to ask— does Tessa have chronic pain? I saw a comic where J was licking her because she had a bad pain day.

Yes! With her Antivirus system "dampened" to prevent it from turning against her, its the same system that is responsible for healing nanite production. essentially its cut off the already small amount of nanites that a WD's bodies produces.

One of the reasons she needs to constantly repair herself!

Hello! I wanted to ask if its okay to make a fic (probably a one-shot) based on your art if Space suit Tessa hugging J (where it looks like theres a bunch of cables coming out of her back and Tessa grabbed her out of a pod)? It would be my interpretation of the events leading up to the scene in the photo.

Ive been thinking about it and wanted to ask first and to make sure i dont step on any toes. Ill be sure to give you credit for the idea in the authors notes at the start.

jessa is awesome and deserves to be undoomed we love the very silly girl and the corporate drone that will hiss at everyone except the silly girl with who she will do everything for?

yes, yes, and yes.

Change of Plans- is in Act 1 and is one of the earliest sequences of the story. theres a couple of scenes that take place in it. it has a lot of interaction between: Tessa and Uzi, J and Khan, J and Tessa, and V and N will make an appearance at the end!

Yes, but its mostly background but we do see it playing out over the course of the story.

agreed jessa is awesome and deserves to be undoomed. in DaGOI au tho- J and Tessa do not get along in the beginning, So Tessa definitley gets hissed at.

Ok, here's a Jessa ask:

In the spacesuit story, when they meet again has Tessa clocked J's past feelings for her or is she still figuring it out? How does she feel about it? And does it take long before she starts reciprocating?

As for J, does Tessa's change in character dampen her feelings at all or are they as strong as always?

And most importantly, do they reach first base before Nuzi?

okay this is a fun ask because yeah, spacesuit Tessa does clock it.

The major obstacle to Tessa having any reflection on this fact, is shes preoccupied with her one man mission to take down the solver- feeling entirely responsible for it.

constantly, shes trying to not dwell much on her past, and throws herself entirely into the mission. shes a wee bit scarred by the fact that- on a dime- she witnessed her drones turn into murderous man eaters, ones that hunted her. hence why she avoids working with any drones on JCJ assignments. as any soft memories of a twintailed maid drone can quickly turn into something worse.

When J and Tessa start to work together proper, everything being acknowledged in hindsight again- Tessa knows. and now, actually having J interact with her again with that knowledge, it sparks some deeply buried excitment.

but, like most of her ways with dealing with the past- she shoves it off as something that was a long time ago and shouldn't be dwelt too heavily on. because to her, too much has changed, theres a mission to focus on- but that doesnt mean she doesn't linger on it.

J has such a strange relationship with authority, and this cold and dismissive person- thats later revealed to be Tessa- would weigh on her. When trust is gained and the DD's start reconnecting with her, Tessa does get some of her whimsy and positivity back. after the fact, when it isnt so directed towards her, and Tessas own treatment of J is acknowledged, J probably thinks her sudden bouts seriousness, her taking charge, is hot lol.

individually both of them are thinking "okay we need to focus on this life threatening mission so we dont die, theres no time for distractions." and immediately failing at that that. I imagine its pretty awesome to be reunited with someone you missed incredibly- your best friend. in a twisted way, youre both the free-est youve ever been, you can just fall back into old habits. and some new ones, wink wink.

see I'm torn on that last one, because I do still love the "are they coworkers or lovers", beat-around-the-bush slow route, and I usually go by rule of funny. but in reality they'd still get to it before Nuzi.

How far long away (years) does this series take place?

DaGOI story opens up a little bit before Tessas boot up, which takes place 1-2 weeks after the final episode!

There’s scenes that take place during their time at the manor, and some during the main-series!

Have you drawn or written anything of Tessa first waking up in her drone body?

Yes, to both actually! :P The main events of the story is all planned out, especially the resurrection scene. It’s a matter of finding time to make it lol

For the comic- it was one of the first comics I worked on, so some things have changed since then.

I plan to work on it soon- going to be the next patreon comic after Change of Plans wraps up, and then it’ll come out after that!

@the-terrornator I didnt want to spam you with links, so heres a little comp. its heavily just drawings of drone tessa doing it hehe, and as close as it can get to being the same outfit(s) at least (prom dress is meant to be a parallel to her long green gown)

for human tessa I only really have her wearing the overalls when shes fixing up drones (its mostly done in secret) so in this old comic. this drawing below as well -which is making me feel like a liar LOL- she wears it differently, letting the straps hang around her waist, and its a different undershirt colour.

what Im garnering from this is I need to properly redraw human Tessa in overalls, and drone Tessa in the long dress LOL
