Vampair Season 2 Episode 5 Spoilers

In this latest episode, we learned just how Duke found the Anger Cane

After leaving Artemis and the other vampires, Duke returned home and found a letter left behind by his now-deceased father. But instead of reading it, Duke tossed the letter into the fire and let it burn. Just before the letter was completely destroyed, this much of the text (in segments) was legible:

"And so: They fall under its spell... all who hear it be... like a virus"

Suddenly, Duke feels something that catches his attention. He then looks out the window, seeing a red light flash in the graveyard outside the mansion and knowing he has to dig something up. He goes to the spot and uncovers a locked case

As it turns out, the key that Duke's father wore around his neck---which Duke later inherited---opens that case. Inside it was the Anger Cane, though it was rusted and broken in places. Duke realized that this was something Artemis and the vampires were looking for, but decided not to bring it to them

I don't think it's a stupid question

Judging by what's been shown in Vampair, I think Artemis would feel more confused than anything else. He doesn't seem to think of Duke as a boyfriend, so Duke suddenly hugging or kissing him would seem odd

But I don't know what Artemis' romantic or sexual preferences are in Vampair, so I can't say whether he finds Duke attractive or would be open to a relationship with him. Meanwhile, in Threnody, Artemis is aromantic and in a relationship with both Nim and Airad

Will Artemis celebrate Valentine's Day?

Because Artemis is aromantic, I would think he wouldn't actively celebrate Valentine's Day. However, if Nim and Airad do celebrate, then he would get both of them gifts

The vampire was visibly taken aback by that description. Illiteracy was an unfortunate thing by itself, but she didn't seem to recognize writing as a concept. Did no one raise this odd young lady?

" Kinda. . . but what's the difference between this one and this one? " Pointing, or attempting to with the pillory restricting her movements, to the letter 'a' and the letter 'o' that was on the page. To her they looked extremely similar and there wasn't much of a difference.

" Aren't those the same thing? "

"They aren't. Granted, the difference is subtle and you haven't learned what to look for."

"But yes, all those little 'squiggles' mean something. When put together in the right order, they become the same words you and I speak with."

How would you feel if you met Artemis?

I think if I met Artemis, I would feel intimidated at first (because he's a big strong vampire). I'm not sure what he would think about me, but because he's so serious, I would know not to waste his time or try to joke with him

I do think Artemis would be a good teacher/mentor and I'd like to learn from him. How cool would it be to learn magic from a vampire?

Will Artemis get his clothes back from the Duke or will he stay in the rabbit costume? 😳

Eventually, Artemis will get his clothes back and he won't have to wear the Playboy bunny outfit anymore. But people are asking: who owns the outfit?

Certainly, not Artemis. It's taking every ounce of patience he has to not tear the thing off. But the outfit isn't Duke's either (his is black). No, the outfit actually belongs to Airad

Why does an outfit for Airad fit Artemis? Because Artemis helped Airad make it, since they're the same height and chest size

What does Artemis like to do?

From what we've seen of Artemis, he seems very serious and doesn't like standing idle. He wants to get things done and won't wait around to do them. I think of him as being very business-focused and not spending much time on hobbies

But since he lives with Nim and Airad, he'd have to be involved in the things they do every day. He might bake with Nim and help her kill people, he might dance with Airad and just enjoy spending time with them. He also seems to know more about magic, so he might be teaching them too
