Judging from the otherwise mortified glances of passers-by, perhaps walking around with her lance and cage in hand was not the best course of action — but Ereshkigal is not one to let her guard down, especially in unknown territories like this one. For all she knows, this place might be a singularity and the enemy could strike at any given time — if that’s the case, then she is always ready to incur her wrath upon them.
Though, she would be lying if she said that she is not the least embarrassed by the attention she’s getting. Ah, well, she supposes it’s likely due to the fact that humans, no matter the era, are not used to being in the presence of the one and only ruler of the netherworld, so she has no choice but to forgive th—— Her train of thought comes to a halt when she feels the unmistakable impact of colliding into something. Someone. An enemy?! Her grip on her lance tightens as she looks up, only to have her gaze fall upon…
A young woman? Crimson irises widen in awe as she realizes her mistake; the other was not a heroic spirit — but simply a mere mortal — so Ereshkigal has no reason to raise her weapon against her. She mentally chides herself for reading the situation wrong — if she happened to strike a human down, even if it’s by accident, she would, surely, never forgive herself.
❝ Oh. I’m sorry about that. ❞ She says, taking a step back. ❝ Are you hurt? ❞
Perhaps it had already been brought to the attention of the rest of those here, but the young woman holding the... Lance-like item and decked ouit in what seemed to be intricate cosplay definitely stood out in a crowd for Ophelia. Bright blond hair tried in adorable bows, a center part for the bangs and charming red eyes all accessorized her small frame, all points of weakness for Ophelia. Though generally, her overall weakness was just cute girls. And the slightly nervous look on her face was cute. So perhaps this girl was someone to talk to eventually.
So she moves on, crossing the street and beginning to head her way home, shopping bag in tow. Her mind begins to wander to what she plans on doing now. Perhaps she’ll clock in to the office and spend a few hours there, as she did leave a bit early.. And never had much to do. These thoughts were suddenly cut short by the feeling of another person hitting her.
And suddenly, a wave of irritation hits her. Ophelia was always the type that unless someone was spoken to, hated being interrupted. And this was one of those cases. Turning with a click of her heels, eyes gently glance down to see the adorable girl from earlier. Despite this being the case, she was poor at hiding her foul expression on her face.
“Ah? Not hurt at all. Though, for you... are you alright?”
