Seāref & Ream & Alrena | The Maze Runners

It seemed logical to run to the library. At least to Ream it seemed like a logical step. Who knows what secrets hid in there and if there was something important, she didnāt want the Knights to arrive there first. Besides a part of her hoped they would have some books about Lath Magic - any piece of information she didnāt know yet. So taking all those things into consideration, it was logical, why the elf decided to go there.
However, the surprise was big as she arrived there, but didnāt find a library full of books, but rather⦠a maze. As soon as she realized that it was yet another trap, she wanted to turn around and leave. Only, that of course, it was not as easy. The only way she would get out here was by going throughĀ the maze.Ā
Ream took a deep breath and placed her hand on the right wall of the maze. She read somewhere, that if you kept your hand on one of the walls all the time, you would get out sooner or later. Now she had the opportunity to test that theory. She took barely a few steps, when she heard noises - steps, but those were not hers.
āHallo? Is there someone?āĀ
Itād been quite some time since he had left the homestead of HagaFosiel and what better occasion than when a group of magicians took over a city? His choice to enter the library was more of avoiding a strike from a fire magician outside than actually wanting to. He was well aware the risks that came with being out in the open but there was more he could do from within the city than back at HagaFosiel. Besides if he was to be forced back home for safety, at least it wouldnāt be a far off trip.Ā
Immediately as he entered he knew something was off, not just because the lack of books but also because of a strange feeling he sensed. He didnāt want it to be anything, he really didnāt. However, there was no doubt that there was more to this maze than simply navigating through it. His gaze went around him and with a sigh he took a step forward. Before long he had gone in a circle and groaned softly to himself and continuing on.Ā
A voice interrupted his thoughts, however, so he answered back,Ā āHello?ā He peeked around the corner, wishing he at least had a better weapon than just his bodily strength. He caught sight of a familiar face and sighed in relief,Ā āReam...am I glad to see you.āĀ
