Somehow she was really happy. His smile was so cute and wow she wanted to hug him like you wouldn’t believe! Of course she refrained. “My name means ‘strong’,” she giggled, covering her mouth her hand. “So what are you doing? Playing by yourself?” She stood up now, no longer kneeling, and smoothed out her skirt.

"So can you pick up big things? Like tables?" Ciel asked, a bit more interested. Having a name that meant ‘strong’ sounded a lot better than sky. He looked at his hands and then glanced to the floor at the question, "Well…You have to promise not to tell anyone what I’m doing if I tell you, okay?"

Bri blinked and giggled at his question. It would have been nice to be strong but it wasn't the case for her. Although she was strong enough to handle 'older' Ciel's constant stream of sass. She winked, holding a finger to her lips. "No, sadly. And got it!" She gave a firm nod, emphasizing her answer. "I won't tell anyone, I promise."

As jarring as it was…Ciel was so much more endearing as a little kid. Those big blue eyes that sparkled like little sapphires, ah, it was all too cute! “Ciel? That’s a nice name.” Her tone was gentle, like she was talking to a little animal that could run away at any minute. “I’m Brianna, it’s nice to meet you, Ciel. You can call me, Bri.”

The child nodded quickly, facial expressions still a bit tense as he watched the stranger. The bluenette had always been wary of newcomers, clinging behind his parents to avoid them. However, now, he was out in the open and it unnerved him slightly. Still, this woman seemed nice enough…”It means sky,” Ciel offered quietly, “I like your name too, Bri, it’s easy to say…”

Now if only there was a way to guarantee that Ciel wasn’t going to be even a little miffed at her for this. It was sort of her fault he was in this state anyway. Surreal was the word…Ciel was only ever curt with her and seeing him so timid and small and genuinely sweet. “Sky? Oh, that’s really neat!” Her voice heightened as though she was genuinely surprise. “Do you want to know what my name means?”

Bri simply seemed like a giant to the small, frail form of the child. He was now several heads shorter than he was in his true age, being the form of a five year old. A small smile was produced at the other’s surprise, Ciel feeling a bit special because of it. The bluenette nodded his head quickly, honestly curious, “It means something? I want to know!”

Ciel kept his distance, looking at the other with wondrous eyes. He scrunched up his nose, “Oh…Okay. I’m…” The child paused as if he had forgotten his name, but in fact, was mustering up the courage to relay it, “I’m Ciel.”

"Th-Thy don’t actually do that!-Here you are telling me I shouldn’t lie…While you do it yourself," Ciel crossed his arms in a childish manner about his chest. But the question was still persistent, did they really pull out all your teeth when one had a cavity? The boy stared defiantly at his cake, “I brush often enough, I think.”

"There are lots of tooth and gum diseases you can contract if you’re not brushing as you should," she replied coolly. "It is very possible if you don’t take care of your teeth as you should, you’ll never be able to eat sweets again." Her expression was neutral and her voice was completely nonchalant. Rising from her seat, Bri stepped over to stand close to him. "In any case, at least rinse your mouth with warm water."

Ciel’s eye went wide and stared at Bri for a few moments, mulling over the information she had just fed him. The several nights he had been too exhausted to brush them, he faintly recalled Sebastian mentioning something along the lines of pain and a disability to consume sweets. He glanced at the desert on his plate before returning his eye to Bri and he gave an uncharacteristic pout, “Well…If you know so much about this, how do I get rid of this issue now?-Besides, what would warm water do against sugar?”

"For a toothache...either start brushing well, or your teeth gets pulled out." Bri spoke with a grimace, at the idea. She hated the dentists, but at least MODERN dentists used anesthesia. "I've heard the pain was simply unbearable in your mouth. You won't be able to sweets for a long while if your teeth has to be pulled. Maybe there's just something stuck between your teeth?"

"Honestly, dear, you shouldn’t lie," Bri replied calmly, lacing her fingers together and tilting her head a bit. Her lips formed a tight line, as her expression became one of concern. His movements definitely caught her eye. "By the looks of it…it definitely seems like a tooth ache. Have you been brushing like you should’ve been? It’d be a shame to have all your teeth pulled out and never being able to eat sweets ever again, don’t you think?"

What he doesn’t understand is why she’d be fawning over something such as this…when he is right there. But at her words, he smiled. 

"Ah! Good! Because soon, you’ll become my oyome-chan, right?"

"So you heard me, huh? I never thought of myself an especially loud person."

Bri chuckled and then sighed softly. It was nice to know someone came looking for her, but to his question she wasn't sure how to answer. Being blunt was easiest, but his precocious affections were rather endearing.

"No-Nothings wrong," Ciel managed as he slowly, cautiously removed his hands from his mouth. It was done in a fashion that he was almost afraid one move would cause the pain again, "It’s not the sweets! Its not a toothache, I’m sure…"

Ciel lifted one of the silver spoons full of decadent cake to his lips, eating it as usual, when a sharp pain was spiked in his tooth upon sugary contact. The child made a small yelp and dropped the spoon, covering his mouth with his hands, "O-Ouch…What the hell?”

"Something wrong, Ciel?" Bri placed the fork down in her plate and stared at him curiously. That probably wasn't a very good sign. Pushing up her glasses she let out a small sigh. "Is it a tooth ache? Maybe you should hold back on the sweets."

"I know, I just wanted to tell you." He smiled good-naturedly, his arms around her waist as he leaned in with her, pressing their lips together. The kiss was soft and sweet, until he flicked his tongue out playfully, giving her bottom lip a little nip, as though asking for her to open her mouth.

"Mmmmm..." Of course he'd do this! Yet she happily obliged. She tilted her head just a little as she parted her lips, allowing him entrance. Her tongue darted out too, playing with his for dominance. She made little groans, as she deepened the kiss. As nervous as she was, it always melted away when Nagisa was with her. It's fun with two after all...

"Then…" he grinned as he said this, pulling her towards him, his hand on her chin as he tilted her face up. "Heh, you’re cute, today too."

"N-Nagisa!" Bri was smiling broadly but she was clearly still shy. Her eyes were wide until she finally shut them. "Um! Um! Come get your reward?" She wrapped her arms around his shoulder, opening her eyes and again and leaned in slowly, so their lips could meet. Her eyes closing again as she came closer.

"I know I’m currently looking for a companion, that’s all." She pushed up her glasses, but gave him a small smile. Taking a few steps forward, she stopped and beckoned him with her fingers. "Thank you."

"Shall we go then? Or is there something you need to do?"

"Hmm, I bet you figured out already, but there really isn’t much to do at night. The city is almost as boring as the inside of this mansion. So I really enjoy your presence here, you see?" Following her and matching paces he slowly walked up the big door parting them from the outside world. Taking a few steps ahead he reached for the handle and pushed the door open, waiting for her to step out first. 

"Lead the way."

"Of course, I'm not actually fond of the dark, but there are interesting things to find if you know what you're doing." Bri spoke cooly but there was a lightness to her voice. However despite this she did keep her guard up for the worst. "Like this one cafe, that's open late nights and serves some pretty good food." Stepping out, the cool air greeted her and she shivered a bit but didn't mind too much. 

"Unless, you don't feel like eating now? I don't mind just strolling around and chatting."

"Hmm, an invitation? Doesn’t sound too bad, I’ll accept."
