He throws himself at his shorter best friend, attempting to crush him in a tight, overbearing hug. “I love youuuuu!!”

“Ack, hey —— !” No matter how many years he’s friends with this guy, he doesn’t think he’ll ever get to used to how forceful he can be sometimes. He stumbles back a bit, raising his hands to push back on the other and try to hold up his weight. It’s a good thing Yuu had figured something like this would happen —— he doesn’t even want to begin to imagine what kind of disaster would’ve happened if he had actually been holding the cake in his hands like he considered at first.

Once he feels stable enough on his feet and knows he’s not going to fall over, he sighs heavily and wraps his arms around the other. What a fucking idiot. “I love you too, but could you do without knocking me off balance? You’re practically a walking hurricane, Ara.”

As much of the focus of the holiday seemed to be on flowers, gifts, and candy as it was on the actual ‘love’ aspect.

A glance up at the taller male, an almost childlike innocence and fascination present in those pretty blue eyes, and he couldn’t help a smile. “Do you want to get some, then? I’ll treat you —— after all, I’m the one who asked you out here today.” After all —— chocolates, flowers, what did it matter as long as he could spend time with this precious person?
