I’ve often said that folks tend to think that Setsuna is the one more like sess because of her composure, but I’ve argued over time that she’s more like Rin in that she’s very emotionally intelligent and self sacrificing
Towa at a glance seems to be more like Rin because of how she acts, but she’s more like her dad - abrasive at times and always doing the most to get strong ESPECIALLY for her loved ones (also not so emotionally intelligent but shhh)
That’s why I think Sess seems to focus on her - he knows where she gets it from and extends the grace he never got from his father or mother. He goes out of his way to show physical affection because he’s learned from Rin that THAT helps and keeps people like him and Towa from straying too far in their personal quests
In short and in agreement w my autism sess family agenda: Setsuna is more like Rin but w her daddy’s tism ✨ and Towa is more like sess but without his tism ✨ and Rin is great at understanding them all because she’s a queen and a lady and we love her

Bc Setsuna is her mamas baby and I love how she allows herself to be taken care of the way she always should have been bc she knows her mom wants to pamper her and Setsuna wants to pamper her mom ITS THE SAME PICTURE YOUR HONOR
