Imagines, scenarios, fics, and the like. Some 18+ written material, but mostly the safe stuff. Header: @tea-with-loki Avatar: @lizzietheizzie Just a 25 yr. old trying to brighten the world, one smile at a time.
My dear, lovely followers...Iâve been thinking about this for quite a while, now, and with things not changing (as in, staff not helping me out in the least) Iâve been pushed into doing this.
Iâve made a new blog where I will continue to write.
Due to tumblr marking my blog as explicit, at least in some form or fashion, Iâve not been showing up in tags. Hell, you canât even search for my blog, anymore! Because of this, I can no longer reach the audience that I once was able to, which means my works donât get shown to very many people unless someone is kind enough to reblog. This isnât harping on those that donât, because I get that, I really do. This is an issue on tumblrâs end, and they donât seem real keen on fixing it, at least not anytime soon.
What does this mean for this particular blog? It simply means that I wonât be updating any longer, at least, not here. Iâll keep this blog up for others who wish to look back on my works, and Iâll answer any questions or messages that come up in my asks, but as for this particular blog, I will no longer be posting any fic-related things.
You can now find me here:Â @sethrine-writes.
Thank you guys so much for sticking with me through all the mess. Iâm still here on this hellsite, and I plan on being more active in a different way.
Hey guys! Not dead! Just been incredibly sick, as has the rest of the household, so it's been quite the time, lemme tell ya.
I was tagged by the always lovely @ramimalks to dish out 15 answers to these personal questions. Have a look, if you wanna learn more about me.
Question 1: Are you named after someone?
Surprisingly, no. My mom just liked my name and decided her first born would be that name.
Question 2: When was the last time you cried?
I believe it was 2 nights ago. I was watching gamers react to a certain scene in a video game, and it had me bawling like a baby for a solid 15 minutes!
Question 3: Do you have/want kids?
I dont have any children, but I do want to have them, some day.
Question 4: Do you use sarcasm a lot?
With my family and close friends, I would say decently often, but not to the point that it becomes annoying. Otherwise, not really.
Question 5: Whatâs the first thing you notice about people?
Usually, it's the face, followed by the eyes and lips. And obviously, depending on the person, certain aspects jump out a bit more. They're wearing bright red lipstick? I'm seein' them lips. Big, bouncy hair in neon colors? A bitch noticing that, too. Fancy dress in the middle of nowhere? That's gonna turn my head. It varies from person to person, but my eyes will always gravitate to the face.
Question 6: Whatâs your eye colour?
Blue! But not that pretty bright blue, more like a murky blue, with a hint of green. Still just as pretty as any other color!
Question 7: Scary movie or Happy ending?
I'm a fan of both! Happy endings make the film feel complete, and scary movies scratch that itch of an adrenaline rush that I'm looking for without any actual danger to my person.
Question 8: Any specific talents?
Nothing specific that I can think of, though I've been told that I can make food look good. Like...I guess that's a talent?
Question 9: Where were you born?
In a relatively decent sized city in southeast Texas! Very close to where I live, now.
Question 10: What are your hobbies?
I love writing, reading (though I've not picked up a book in ages), cooking/baking, and I apparently have a knack for giving good advice and being a great listener.
Question 11: Do you have any pets?
In this house, we have...20 animals. Not by choice, as we've recently had 2 litters of kittens that we're trying to give away. But there are 2 specifically that I deem as mine. Baby, my fluffy grey cat, and Lil Biddy, a fluffy, squish-nosed calico kitten.
Question 12: What sports do you play/have you played?
In jr. high/high school, I played volleyball and did track & field, shot put and discus. Cuz ya girl ain't about all that running business.
Question 13: How tall are you?
5'5"
Question 14: Favourite subject in school?
Jr. high school, I absolutely loved English. High school, my English teachers suuucked, so I was a bigger fan of science.
Question 15: Dream job?
I've had several "dream" jobs during my development. When I was just a wee thing, I wanted to be a teacher. Getting into jr high, I wanted to become a psychologist. My sophmore year, a chef, and junior year, graphic design seemed more my speed. Nowadays, I don't even know what I really want to do.
No tags, but feel free to give it a go, if you like!
Warnings:Â Some angst, Hurt/Comfort, Death of a Character
A/N:Â This is the first fic based on the voting you guys did! Iâm slow-going, but I did get it out! Iâll have the other one ready hopefully within the next week, so be on the lookout for it! Also, let me know if you guys like this new format for my writing. It seems to work rather well with others, so I figured Iâd give it a shot, too. Enjoy!
There was an old radio in the kitchen, sitting atop one of the counters away from the stove, of which had to be at least forty years old. Oftentimes, it was used more than the actual television, as Hank preferred the quiet background noise when nothing else in particular struck his interest. You could even recall countless times when the former Lieutenant fiddled with the old thing, cursing and smacking the electronic until it cleared decently enough to hear the news or a bit of music.
You joked with him, on occasion, that he reminded you of your grandfather, who had a similar, much more busted up radio that he enjoyed listening to. Hank would always give you the same exasperated look, along with the same declaration that he might as well be your grandfather, given his age. You never failed to laugh and roll your eyes, reminding him that your father was only two years younger than him.
It was a silly memory that came up every time you saw the radio, one that would force a smile to your face. That day, it only gave your heart a heavy feeling.
Moving out of the kitchen brought you straight into the living room, everything neat and put in its place, or so you thought. Your eyes scanned the area for a long while, brows furrowing at the realization that something was off.
Something was missing.
Pinpointing exactly what wasnât there was a hard game to play, as you and Connor had been rearranging things for the past few weeks to make the place feel more like home.
HomeâŠ
Even that felt difficult to put to words.
You gave a heavy sigh, giving up your visual search for the time being in favor of finding Connor, who had become much too quiet for your liking. Luckily, he was much easier to locate, having disappeared into the bedroom as you finished cleaning up in the kitchen.
The room still smelled of fresh paint when you entered it, the lilac walls lovely just as much as they were jarring. The bed had finally been moved back into place, as had the small vanity and the side table, though neither you nor your boyfriend had been allotted the time to decorate and make it feel more your own.
Connor sat at the edge of the bed, his back facing you and hunched forward, hands held between his legs. From your position at the door, it seemed as if he was holding something, though it was hard to see exactly what.
Moving closer, you noticed the slight shake of Connorâs shoulders, an unexpected and concerning sight.
âConnor?â you questioned quietly, causing the android to turn to you quickly.
His eyes were wide and surprised, as if he hadnât heard your approach at all, tears glimmering at the edges and in thin lines down his cheeks. If your heart felt heavy before, it was practically shattered, now.
âI didnât hear you come in,â Connor spoke, voice light and clear and not at all belaying the melancholy he must have been feeling for quite some time.
âWhatâs wrong?â you asked, but you already knew.
âNothing,â he spoke quickly, eyes darting down to his hands, âitâs justâŠI miss them. I miss him.â
You finally got a better look at what Connor was holding, feeling the all too familiar sting of your own tears at the object of his attention. It was a picture with a semi-recent frame that projected the image in clear detail. It was one you hadnât been a part of, as you hadnât even known Connor, at the time, but it was still a treasured picture.
Hank was standing tall and proud, and perhaps a bit on the exasperated side, as he always seemed to be, but his grin was warm and genuine. Connor was beside him, holding a massive, panting dog within his arms as if it were nothing and wearing a smile on his face that could rival the sun with its brightness and intensity.
You had never known Sumo, and it was a shame. Stories kept his memory alive, but you knew it would never be the same as having him there.
It was the same way when talking of Hank, after all.
âOh, Con,â you murmur, shifting to carefully sit beside him on the bed. Your hand reached out toward his own, fingers smoothing over the tight grip he had over the picture frame. Thankfully, the clench of his fingers relaxed to that of a gentle hold.
âI miss him, too,â you confess quietly, âevery single day. This houseâŠhis houseâŠholds so many memories. You remember how I couldnât even step foot in this place the first few weeks after-â
You paused, feeling your throat tighten at even thinking the words. It seemed you still werenât completely over the loss of who you considered a dear friend.
âWell, I just couldnât. It hurt too much. It still does, seeing all his stuff around us.â
âIs that why weâve been packing his things away? To get rid of that feeling?â
Shocked, you took a better look at Connor, though where you expected to find some sort of anger or accusatory hurt over your idea to clean out Hankâs home, as was assumed by his words, you could find none. Instead, Connor seemed defeated, accepting in a way that belayed his dismay.
You knew Connor had been mourning in his own way, but you hadnât realized just how much Hankâs death was affecting him.
âWha- of course not! Connor, honey, no.â
Swiftly, you went to your knees before him, moving closer and placing both hands over his. Connor looked up for the briefest moment before averting his gaze to the picture once more.
âListen to me,â you began gently, âthere is nothing we can do that will take the pain away, not completely. Hank was very important to us, and having someone like that suddenly not here where he should be can break us. But we canât just stay broken, because thatâs too easy.â
With careful movements, you pried Connorâs fingers from the picture, turning it in your hands to look at it better. You recognized it as the picture that had previously been in the living room, sitting on one of the empty book shelves next to some knick-knacks. It was always in sight, always right there. It was no wonder you recognized its absence without realizing exactly what it was that was missing.
âI suggested cleaning and packing things up because we canât wallow in this limbo of sadness forever. He gave us this place, and we canât make this a home if all we do isâŠis stagnate. We have to pick up the pieces. We have to move on, Connor.â
âMove on, or forget?â
You gave a soft smile, reaching out to caress the androidâs cheek. He finally looked up at you, a fresh set of tears in his eyes and threatening to spill.
âMoving on doesnât mean forgetting. Packing his things away isnât getting rid of his memory. Itâs allowing me to grieve and remember the good, and because of that, Iâm able to heal. Everyone grieves differently.â
The air was still between you both, eyes locked as you gave Connor time to process everything you had just said. You watched the shift in his expression, how it smoothed over into something neutral for a long moment. He seemed contemplative, really taking your words to heart and trying to understand just what you meant by your answers.
Without warning, Connor reached for you, hands coming up to cup just below your jaw and along your neck as he leaned in and touched his forehead to yours. Startling, you dropped the picture, the metal making a dull thud against the carpet as your hands came to grasp at his wrists.
âI love you, I love you,â he murmured, tears escaping from beneath closed eyes.
âI love you, too,â you answered, your own eyes slipping closed as you experienced his grief. âIâm right here, Connor. Itâs alright. Everything will be okay.â
He held you for a long time, your positions somehow shifting to the floor as his arms circled firmly around you, head buried in the crook of your neck. He cried, long and hard, and you held him through the anguish that he was finally able to let loose. You cried with him, saddened that he had struggled with processing his grief, and relieved that he finally had the chance to express it.
When he finally calmed in your hold, tears no longer falling and sobs long having gone quiet, you coaxed him up for a slow, gentle kiss that conveyed your love and affection and pride in him.
âWhy donât we find a place for this picture, hm?â
Connor seemed to perk a bit at your words, a hint of confusion evident with the crease of his brow.
âBut you were packing everything-â
âBut not everything has to be put away,â you countered, smiling slow and easy as you picked up the photo and placed it back in Connorâs hands. Connor seemed surprised for only a moment before a smile of his own finally came to his lips, sweeter than you ever could remember.
âOf course. I get it, now.â
âGood, Iâm glad. Now, come help me figure out what to do with this radio. I think Hank was the only one who knew how to work the damn thing.â
Connor gave a chuckle at that, and your smile brightened as you helped each other stand.
There would still be time for grieving, and more tears would undoubtedly be shed over the loss of a great friend, but you and Connor would be able to get through it just fine.
My lovely friends @lizzietheizzie and @tea-with-loki had a conversation between themselves that somehow devolved into dubbing me, in their words, an âangel kidney bean.â They also decided to make me some lovely little arts depicting said angel kidney bean, and I loved both of them so much that I decided to make them my header and avatar.
Thank you both so much for your enthusiasm and friendship. Youâre such sweet souls, honestly, and Iâm love you!!
Thank you guys so much for participating in my little experiment! I ended the polls a couple days ago, and due to a tie between characters, I'll most likely be posting 2 different one-shots based on what you guys chose! I'll get started on the first one tomorrow (had some family matters this weekend, plus some dental work on 4 different teeth done today, hence my not having started on things.) Keep a look out for the first fic!
Alright! I said I was going to give it a try, so here we go!
I wanted to do something fu. that would get you guys more involved in my process, and I figured there was no better way than letting you guys decide what happens next. Thatâs right! You guys get to choose how I write my next one-shot/fic!
Below are several polls with a specific category. For each category, choose the answer you want to see the most in the fic, and after two or three days, the most popular answers will be mashed together to create a fic of your choosing!
If there is anything else that I may not have put in the poll or that you would like to see happen, leave a comment, and it will be taken into consideration. Super easy!
Setting you would like to see the fic take place: https://strawpoll.com/1bepxwpc
Character you want to see written for: https://strawpoll.com/2w7sseex
What mood(s) you would like to see in the fic: https://strawpoll.com/s8akzrc4
Let me know if there is anything else you guys would like to see! This is very much an experimental project to see how interested everyone is. And donât forget to share with your friends! The more votes, the better!
Doing a day bump! Go vote on what you'd like to see happen in the next fic I write! The setting is tied right now, and the top mood and character are just one vote higher than the runner-up!

Goodbye kisses: Lingering and hard for longer times apart. Ones that curve Aâs body against Bâs and cause hands to play against backs. Or short pecks, maybe not even completely on the mouth for short trips to the grocery store.
Hello kisses: After long periods apart, these can include A picking up B and spinning them around. Fingers pressing into cheeks, palms cupping necks, and breathless laughs when they finally come up for air.
Breathless kisses: A series of short pecks because they need the closeness but they also need air, so. Sometimes smiles come in between, or sometimes itâs just breath, gasping for the sole purpose of being able to kiss again.
Heated kisses: Breath huffing into mouths, angrily or passionately. Hands grabbing at clothing and pulling each other closer.
First kisses: Hesitant and nervous. Lips hover inches from each other for a few seconds before they just barely brush. Itâs just a soft press, but it ignites their entire bodies. Pinkies link afterwards, still wanting to be close, and each looks down, smiling softly.
After sex kisses: Lazy, slow presses. Limbs pressed together, chests heaving. Soft murmurs about what to do for dinner later, fingers trailing down backs, tracing lazy patterns. B rolling onto their back and A trailing their lips down their neck, kissing their shoulder, their chest, anywhere they can think of, memorizing B.
Morning kisses: Barely awake kisses that usually end up on jaws or cheeks because A is too tired to land it properly. B makes a sleepy sound and rolls into A, nuzzling their face into their neck, ankles hooking together, while A drapes their arms around B and they fall back asleep for a while.
Post-break up kisses: Soft and slow. Hands on each otherâs arms in a way that neither can tell if the other is pushing away or pulling closer. The kiss ends with their foreheads pressed together, neither wanting it to be true that this is happening.
Christmas kisses: More smile than actual kiss. A holds mistletoe above their heads while B rolls their eyes, but pulls A down by the collar of their ugly Christmas sweater for a heated kiss. A takes B by the waist and walks forward until they are around the corner, away from the prying eyes and hoots of the rest of their friends and family.
Comforting kisses: B walks into find A sitting on the bed, shoulders shaking, cheeks wet. A looks up, face looking stricken for a moment. B is shocked, and quietly says Aâs name. At this, A breaks, face crumpling, and only barely has time to reach both hands out for B before B is there, kneeling at Aâs feet. B takes Aâs hands first, kissing their knuckles and palms. Then B reaches up to hold Aâs face, pressing soft kisses around their cheeks, their lips, murmuring âitâs okayâ and âyouâre alrightâ and âIâm hereâ in between.
âI thought I lost youâ kisses: The breath is knocked out of both of them with the force that they collide with. Hands grip the back of t-shirts and palms are pressed up and under shirts, holding them close, feeling the warmth of their skin. Palms are pressed to cheeks, thumbs swiping away tears until their mouths collide messily, the world seeming to disappear around them.
âWe canât do thisâ kisses: Fists clenched, hands shoved into pockets. Brows low or brought together, jaws clenched. A feeling like a magnetic pull between them. Their foreheads pressed together, their lips brush, just barely, until B pulls away with a shaking exhale, forehead dropping into Aâs neck.
âCome to bedâ kisses: A has their hands on Bâs neck, murmuring the phrase softly. Aâs hands slide down Bâs arms to their hands, lacing their fingers together and slowly starting to pull B towards their bedroom. A continues to pepper B with kisses all the while, trailing them down their jaw and neck.
âYou look beautifulâ kisses: Just a soft press of lips to the temple, resting them there for a moment, then smiling down and telling them as much.
âIâll be right backâ kisses: A puts their hands on Bâs shoulders from behind them, where they are sat on the couch. He leans down and around, while B turns his head a little, accepting the quick peck.
âI missed youâ kisses: Long and relentless, holding their body close, arms wrapped completely around their waist. A burying their head in Bâs neck and pressing kisses there too.
Angry kisses: Hard, gripping. Fists in clothes, shoving each other against walls. Fingers digging into hips. But the kisses always melt away from that. They turn into brushes of lips between shaking breaths, until theyâre out of energy and are left just standing there, holding each other, fingers carding through hair.
Sad kisses: Almost not a kiss at all. Just holding onto each other tightly, Aâs lips pressed to Bâs temple, whispering soft words, desperately trying to provide whatever comfort they can.
In the dark kisses: The movie plays in the background, but A and B are hardly paying attention from the back row. They kiss soundlessly, long and soft, fingers locked. Aâs arm is thrown behind Bâs seat, wrist bent to curl their fingers into Bâs hair.
Dying kisses: A holds B in their arms, panicked, crying. Murmurs of âno, no, no.â Salt on their lips from tears. Voice cracking. Holding on tightly to their shirt, their shoulder, their hand, roughly pulling them against their body, anything to try and keep them tethered to this earth. Kissing them as they die (âno. No, stay awakeââ), Kissing them once more even with the life has left their body (No. God, come back. Please, come back. Please, look at me, Iâm right hereâ).
Ways to Kiss:
breaking the kiss to say something, staying so close that youâre murmuring into each otherâs mouths
moving around while kissing, stumbling over things, pushing each other back against the wall/onto the bed
kissing so desperately that their whole body curves into the other personâs
throwing their arms around the other person, holding them close while they kiss
hands on the other personâs back, fingertips pressing under their top, drawing gentle circles against that small strip of bare skin that make them break the kiss with a gasp
lazy morning kisses before theyâve even opened their eyes, still mumbling half-incoherently, not wanting to wake up
routine kisses where the other person presents their cheek/forehead for the hello/goodbye kiss without even looking up from what theyâre doing
being unable to open their eyes for a few moments afterwardÂ
one small kiss, pulling away for an instant, then devouring each otherÂ
staring at the otherâs lips, trying not to kiss them, before giving in
when one stops the kiss to whisper âIâm sorry, are you sure you-â and they answer by kissing them more
a hoarse whisper âkiss meâ
following the kiss with a series of kisses down the neck
starting with a kiss meant to be gentle, ending up in passion
a gentle âi love youâ whispered after a soft kiss, followed immediately by a stronger kiss
when one personâs face is scrunched up, and the other one kisses their lips/nose/foreheadÂ
height difference kisses where one person has to bend down and the other is on their tippy toesÂ
kisses where one person is sitting in the otherâs lapÂ
kisses meant to distract the other person from whatever they were intently doingÂ
Summary: You begin to receive postcards from an anonymous sender that brings up an event in your life you wish to forget. You hide them from your boyfriend, Markus, in order to keep him safe but you slowly begin to realize that there are some dangers you canât keep to yourself.

Authorâs note: and we start the year with what started it all, markus! fun fact: the first fic i ever wrote for the DBH community was for markus. thank you, friend, for never losing faith in me and being hella patient with me. i know you requested this THREE MONTHS AGO but i finally had some motivation to fill this. hereâs to a happy new year, folks! ilysm!
warnings: blackmail (itâs not That Bad), mention of a death threat
Youâve always enjoyed getting the mail.
The small trip from your front door to the mailbox seems rather mundane in nature but to you, it felt like an exciting adventure. Ever since childhood youâve had a fascination about the different letters your parents would receive then, years later as you grew older, you would get your own envelopes with your name on them.
Youâve always enjoyed getting the mail up until the postcards started to arrive.
My sweet, lively friend wrote a thing for me that I requested a while back! Have a read, and take a gander at her other dbh writings, as well as her marvel stuff!
I am truly honored and blessed by these call-out posts. I'm by no means considered a popular blog, or a well-known writer in any given community, but that's definitely not important. What's important is that I was able to bring smiles to others faces, that others found joy in the content I created. Every like, reblog, and comment left on any of my works shows that people enjoyed what they read, and that brings me joy, in return.
Thank you guys, so very much, for sticking with me throughout 2018. Here's to a productive, creative, and loving 2019. Have a fantastic new year, everyone!
So!! Wanna do something special for you guys, where you pick out certain aspects of what I write next, such as characters, settings, whether it's a happy ending or an angst-filled ride, etc. I'll provide some choices, and you can pick from those, or you can leave a little comment of what you want to see, and I can put it into the voting pit!
Does that sound interesting? It's definitely something different I'd like to try, just to be a bit more active with you guys. Let me know what you think!
Iâm...not sure what happened? But Iâm not a visible blog for any searches. I donât think I was marked as explicit, because honestly, I shouldnât be. Iâm half tempted to make a new blog and start over, see if I can just figure out things from there. Not sure yet, but it may be the best option.
