@setsuna-week-2017
Setsuna Week has officially begun!
Go forth and post!
Setsuna Week is almost upon us!
Just a couple more days till Setsuna Week!
For those who missed the posts the first time around, the tag we’re using is “setsunaweek2017” and the dates and prompts for the week are listed below.
May 14 (Sun) - Archery/Hunting May 15 (Mon) - Cooking/Salve-making May 16 (Tue) - Compliments/Teamwork May 17 (Wed) - Humming/Stealth May 18 (Thu) - Daydreaming May 19 (Fri) - Caught in a Trap May 20 (Sat) - Birthday!
All fanworks are welcome and don’t worry too much about the deadlines. We’ll be checking the tag even after the week is over.
We hope to see you there!
Now Accepting Prompts for Setsuna Week!
Do you have a fic idea that you'd love to read but don't want to write yourself? Wish you had more Setsuna icons but don't have the software to make them? Think our prompts suck and that you can come up with better ones? Send your prompts to our ask box and maybe it will be just the inspiration someone needs!
From now until May 13th (the day before the start of Setsuna Week) we are accepting Setsuna-centric prompts as an extra way for fans to participate in the event, especially those who may not have the time, confidence or interest in making fanworks themselves.
Like the rest of the event, we only have two main rules that your prompts should follow:
1) Prompts must be focused on Setsuna or her relationship with others. 2) Prompts cannot be hateful. (e.g. containing character/ship bashing, complaints about how the game sucks, racist/sexist/etc. concepts)
For more information on how to submit prompts, how to fill prompts and how NSFW and sensitive content will be accomodated, please see the Read More below. And if you still have questions, our ask box is always open!
Setsuna Week 2017
In celebration of Setsuna's birthday on May 20th, we are dedicating a special week to her from May 14th to May 20th where we hope to create many new fanworks for everyone's favorite absent archer!
How do you participate? Simply make a fanwork focused on Setsuna or her relationship with others. Then, post it sometime during the week of the event using the tag "setsunaweek2017".
We have daily prompts for inspiration and some guidelines to keep the event fun for everyone, so be sure to check those out, too. We look forward to seeing your works!
Introduction & Guidelines
What is Setsuna Week? Setsuna Week is a week dedicated to Setsuna in celebration of her birthday on May 20. To celebrate, we are encouraging fans to create fanworks about our favorite absent archer and post them during the week of the event.
When is Setsuna Week? Setsuna Week 2017 runs from Sunday, May 14th to Saturday, May 20th. However, we may have some activities prior to the main event (i.e. an open call for Setsuna-centric prompts that others can fill in time for the event), and we will still reblog/publish late fanworks for an undetermined length of time after the event.
How do I participate in Setsuna Week? Step 1: Make a thing—anything—as long as it's 1) focused on Setsuna or her relationship with others and 2) not hateful. (More info on what is considered hateful at the end of this post.) Also, feel free to check out our daily prompts for inspiration. Step 2: Post the thing you made to Tumblr. You can do this one of two ways: 1) Upload the thing you made to your personal Tumblr and tag it with "setsunaweek2017". Make sure that "setsunaweek2017" is in the first five tags of your post. That way we will be able to see it in the tag and reblog it. 2) Submit your work directly to this blog using the submit link. If you choose to submit your work this way, you don't have to tag your post with "setsunaweek2017".
What kinds of fanworks are allowed? Pretty much anything! Art, cosplay, crafts, edits, fic, headcanons, imagines, non-fiction essays, playlists, translations, vids, etc. If interpretive dance is your thing, go for it—that sounds amazing! If you can only draw stick figures, no problem—there's artistic merit in that, too!
If you're still feeling uninspired or simply don't have the time or energy to invest in creation, feel free to send us an ask and tell us what you like about Setsuna in as many or as few words as you like.
Do you accept NSFW content? Yes, we do! However, we will only reblog NSFW content if the NSFW part is under a Read More. (Please also make it clear somewhere in your post that there is NSFW content under the Read More.) This is to ensure that fans who don't wish to see such content can easily avoid it.
However, if you either forget or choose not to put NSFW content under a Read More, we will still promote your work on this blog via a link in a new post.
Is there any type of content you don't accept? The only hard rule we have in place (other than "must be focused on Setsuna") is "no hateful content." This includes, but is not limited to, character/ship bashing, complaining about how __ sucks, and fanworks with racist/sexist/etc. attitudes. Posts with such content, even if meant in jest, will not be reblogged/published as it goes against the spirit of the event and ruins everyone's fun.
I have another question/suggestion/comment/etc. Ask away! Our inbox is always open!
Prompt List
The daily prompts for Setsuna Week are listed below. However, unlike other character/ship weeks, sticking to the prompts is completely optional. We hope that these prompts will be helpful to those who are feeling uninspired or seek a challenge.
