you better move
His tail swished back and forth, curiosity most obvious on his expression. For what only seemed like mere moments, Konoe was practically glued to a shop window.. Not literally, of course.. But he’d been peering in and gazing at the shop’s contents, ears pressed forward to express his most obvious intrigue… Now, what could possibly get his attention like that.. Once he thought about it, the very idea was almost embarrassing but..
It was a stuffed toy. A series of them, really but it was just the one that caught his interest.
Well. It was cute!
Originally, he’d asked Rai to come with him so they could get a bite to eat before they studied.. And because Konoe actually had to shop for a couple things he needed.. For school, yes. A new pen.. A notebook. You know.. Just this and that. It could have waited another day, sure but Konoe had asked today and it seemed like Rai wasn’t too pleased by his choice. Either way, his shopping was finished so he didn’t see why Rai would still be cold with him.
"Huh?"
Jumping a bit when Rai regarded him, Konoe’s ears flicked back before he turned to glance at the other cat. An obvious frown crossed his expression and he sighed a bit.
"Fine. Let’s just go."
Admittedly, he was a little disappointed in deciding not to go into the shop to even admire the plush up close but— No. No… It was silly. If anything, he must have been more annoyed by Rai’s impatience. His tail flicked back and forth to express this annoyance and he adjusted his bag before starting off once more. Ah. They still hadn’t gone to eat though..
"Are you hungry, Rai?"
Waiting around for Konoe to finish whatever he was doing wasn't exactly how Rai wanted to spend his free time. His time was barely free at that and he let his impatience be known with not only a cross of his arms and a sour expression but the calls for the tabby cat to stop wasting his time if he already wasn't picking up the clues. Yet even despite Rai, Konoe took his sweet time and seemed to even linger at a store window for Ribika knew what reason. The white cat had caught a glimpse of what the other had been admiring and he found it childish though if he had to think about, it seemed to suit Konoe to like something like that.
He didn't exactly answer the question posed to him, merely began walking off with the silent notion for the smaller cat to follow and keep up. He moved to the food stalls in the downtown, finding the nearest fruit stand as Rai was well aware of Konoe's fondness towards them. Without much words (or any) he bought the fruit salad and returned to Konoe, handing it to him with a simple word with a stern tone.
"Here."
That was about the only answer he was going to get in regards to whether or not the white cat was even hungry. Again, without words but a twitch of his ears, Rai headed over to the nearest empty table for two, sitting and pushing the seat out with his leg for Konoe to take the one opposite of him. Shifting, the white Ribika leaned back in his chair with fluffy white tail thumping against the back of the wooden seat.
"Earlier, what were you looking at that took you so long?"
