Introduction
This art project is inspired by @wounded-minecraft-screenshots, to which I have already submitted multiple screenshots in the past. Upon realising that I periodically come up with new concepts to submit and that they are mostly connected through loosely shared themes, I decided to create my own blog.
For the sake of completionism, I have reblogged my submissions to Wounded Minecraft Screenshots here as well.
Everything on this blog was made by me (without the use of any GenAI); I won't accept submissions. Because I'm just one guy I might post at a rather slow pace.
You may edit/draw my screenshots, use them for pfps/banners/backgrounds/etc., as long as you @ me (or otherwise credit me/this blog if that's not possible).
Explanation of blog-specific tags:
#captioned — posts which include a caption, providing additional meaning or context alongside the screenshot(s)
#natural generation — posts wherein the primary subject was predominantly created via Minecraft's world generation algorithms instead of having been hand-made by me
#other — posts which are not screenshots (like this one)
#showcase reblog — reblogs to showcase what others have made with my art
#submitted — posts which were first submitted to Wounded Minecraft Screenshots before being reblogged here
#text overlay — posts which feature text laid over the screenshot
A few notes on the specific contents of this blog (besides what was already said in the blog description):
The screenshots featured here may be edited
Although I adore the Minecraft vanilla aesthetic and I will mostly adhere to it, I might use some minor (visual) mods (you can find a list of them linked below), resource packs, etc.
I will mostly focus on the newer and contemporary versions of Minecraft (as opposed to alpha and beta, etc.)
I am fascinated by both a lack of presence (e.g. the void under bedrock) and an abundance of presence (e.g. large structures), so these themes will reoccur across this blog
As is often the case with Minecraft singleplayer, themes of isolation, solitude and loneliness will also be featured
