It's like we can't help it, working towards those ego goals that always end in destruction and upheaval. I've heard it argued that aspiration of any sort is poison but that seems too easy a hop to hopelessness for me. So where is the boundary? What's the difference between building Babel and working towards anything at all? The myths themselves (and there are many) are paradoxical. In most stories the tribes start out united, working together which confusingly angers a diety to the point of garbling their words and scattering them across the Earth. If taken as a simple parable to explain language and migration, the paradox can be easily shrugged off. And maybe it IS simple. But in a different way. Maybe spoken barriers and distance weren't punishments per say, but keys. Often our foundation is manipulated by our unconscious mind when we are out of balance. We pull the covers up in our sleep when we are cold. We act out when we require attention. The person you are looking for a joint solution with is someone pretty grounded but has a child-like innocence. Sometimes the judgements we make about others reveal a lot about ourselves. It's hard to gauge what is important to someone else when we're busy projecting our worst fears onto them. Any love, many would argue, must emanate from oneself for oneself, first. You would claim to have no issues there but the deeper you dig- the more unsure you are. I would argue the hesitation comes more from the fact that there is still so much you want to experience and accomplish and you know you don't really need anyone else to do it. You fear being tied down in any sense that you have not cleared or sanctioned. My guess is this person loves you for who you are, not just who you say you are. How does that make you feel? There is that raw place you're avoiding. You're going to have to let go of some of that control if you want to keep the earthy innocence around. Grounded movement is your compromise. Full moon in Cancer comes through as a woman's voice which is sometimes the hardest to hold on to. She has your ultimate happiness in her mind. Still, words that you fear. It's hard to break down that wall. Not the wall between yourself and others. Not the wall between yourself and you- but the wall between you, yourself, others, and the ultimate happiness- which could also be "the greater good". You are told often how your beautiful heart helps and inspires and loves and moves. You should listen to those affirmations with the ears of someone who has not ever considered their heart to beat another way. It's pragmatic to secure a venue, write music, and advertise before a big concert. Just don't get stuck in the green room repeating to yourself you aren't ready while the whole band is on stage poised for your downbeat. You've done the goat work. It's not your fault if the crowd doesn't show. It's not your fault if your vocal chords blow. It's not your fault if on the way onstage you realize this isn't your gig. Sofia is wisdom but specifically through understanding. Sometimes 'being' is just as valuable as 'doing'. When you work so tirelessly to heal and help, it's easy to overlook oneself or feel guilty for spending a second to breathe. Maybe because the 90's basted us in feelings they tend to embarrass us now but we know, truly, there is beauty in pain. And beauty leads to wisdom too. The kind that is ready to 'do'. 💖💖💖
