She glared. “Depends on what sort of fun.” she seethed through clenched teeth. “Like I said, flirting is harmless. If you want to flirt go ahead. Just remember, you can look but not touch.”

Jess rolled her eyes, "Exactly. FLIRTED. Nothing happened! It was harmless.“ She wasn’t trying to be heartless, she genuinely didn’t understand why he was so upset.

David sat in the back of the classroom, throwing his pencil at the ceiling. He looked over at the clock and sighed. Still had 20 minutes. He turned and put his feet up on the desk next to him, oblivious to the student sitting in said desk.

Prue blinks at him, well what she can make out of him in the dark of the closet. Tee demigod was blushing like bad at the extreme lack of distance between them. “Um… thanks?”

Prue catches it easily and gives him a nod. She follows him quietly out the back door, keeping an eye out for anyone who didn’t belong there.

David laughs when he sees the dog chewing on a piece of a shirt. “well I’m guessing they checked out here.“  He made his way around the back of the house. Looking through the fence. “I don’t see a car.”

“I’ll be fine.” She replies with a nod, trying to keep her breathing normal. “As long as nothing bad happens.”

He hands her his phone. “Here. Stay distracted. We’ll be there soon.”

Prue gives him a small smile, following him and taking a seat beside him. She groans quietly, head leading back against the seat. “Closed spaces always make me nervous.”

“I’m sorry.” he said sympathetically. “It was too far to walk. But the ride is only a few minutes. Will you be alright?“ He looked at her with concern.

The daughter of Apollo crosses her arms, raising an eyebrow. “And what if they’re waiting outside to ambush you but get me instead?”

David pulled a switch blade from his pocket and tossed it to the young demigod. “Stick with me then. I’m gonna do a quick sweep. Then we can head out.” He starts to head out the back door.

Prue waits anxiously for him to come back and let’s out a breath when he finally returns. “Good.” She murmurs, stepping out of the closet.

“You should probably get out of the house for a while. In case they come back.” He told her as he got out his phone to call Dimitri.

The daughter of Apollo mumbles something under her breath before running after him and following him onto the bus. “I think you’re trying to kill me.” She mumbles.

David laughs, “Sorry. If we missed this one we’d have to wait an hour.” He paid their fare and walked toward an empty seat in the back. “This is gonna take about thirty minutes.” He told her as they sat down.

Prue also goes quiet, just in case it was a trick. She almost reaches for her knife out of habit, but she remembers it wouldn’t hurt mortals anyway.

“Stay here.” He whispers before exiting the closet. He does a quick sweep of the house, grabbing his spear from the room before coming back down. “Looks clear,” he says, opening the door for Prue.

Prue nods, standing up and grabbing her almost empty coffee cup. “Alright, lets go.” She replies with a smile.

The pair exists the coffee shop. “Shit,” David exclaims as he sees the bus coming. “Hurry up.” he says as he starts running across the street. He makes it just in time to stall the driver. He checks to see where Prue is.
