Lucknow (Feb 2019)
Last month, I visited Lucknow, often called “City of Nawabs” for couple of days. It was a solo trip spanning across Lucknow, Varanasi & Prayagraj (Allahabad). Known for its intricate decorations, Chota Imambara was built by Muhammad Ali Shah, the 3rd Nawab of Awadh in 1838. His plan was to make a mausoleum for him & his mother.
