Wonwoo is a VERY good player…..and by good I mean he can probably solo bosses without doing a 10 person rally like most
Gamer Wonwoo doesn’t really get angry or curse other people out for being noobs he just kinda lets u die in team fights lmao
He’s popular amongst most players because 1) he plays well 2) he’s nice and generous when it comes to sharing rewards after boss fights and most importantly 3) he’s hot
The game forces your avatar to copy your actual features so some people haul Wonwoo as like. A god.
One day there’s a notice about a special event where the game is giving a limited edition of exclusive game weapons and armor and….Wonwoo really wants it
The prize is only for the first 50 people who manager to beat a high level dungeon and defeat the boss so five minutes before the event started Wonwoo had locked his doors and shut his phone down and prepared extra strong black coffee by his side to stay alert
He also told Mingyu that regardless of whatever happens he’s not allowed to contact him in any shape or form
Mingyu: what if there’s an earthquake
Wonwoo: you better somehow stop it without all 185cm of your body
Anyways so Wonwoo’s powering his way through the dungeon as fast as possible but the countdown for the number of slots still available for the prize is getting lower and lower and soon he realizes that he needs to grab that #50 spot
He FINALLY reaches the boss area and

He almost punches his computer
And then he’s rapidly scrolling through the list of winners for the name of whoever snatched his prize
He finds the name [Your Name] and then literally spends the next hour hunting you down
When he finds you he doesn’t bother typing out a long angry paragraph in the chat about why he should have the right to throw you into the sun instead he just

After that he keeps encountering you during rallies for boss fights and his stinginess level immediately skyrocketed as he fights you for the last attack bonus rewards
Wonwoo also spills his salt about you to Mingyu and you’re just like The Topic he’s on for the next few weeks
Mingyu: listen. Just marry them.
Wonwoo: THAT’S NOT WHAT YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO SAY
But eventually the two of you grow close because it’s like….the bond that’s created by defeating strong and annoying bosses is powerful
He just feels nice playing with someone who’s on his level and even despite his salt Wonwoo still knows to be a good teammate and have your back when your HP is low
He still retains his sportsmanship but tbh you feel like he pays more attention to you than anyone else when it comes to helping teammates
Eventually he finds himself asking you to team up with him for boss fights just a little more often than he ever thought he would
Little by little you guys talk about things outside of games like things that’s happened during your day or how hungry you are
One day you guys decide to have an actual Skype video chat as you play to have a livelier experience
You’re SHOOK because the boy is,,,,,so good looking and soft with the slightly tousled hair and the round Harry Potter glasses and that,,,,,,,,,deep gaze
But then Wonwoo’s squinting his eyes at you and you’re squinting your eyes at him because

When you guys meet in person it’s slightly awkward at first because Wonwoo is still pretty shy and it’s the first face to face meeting but there is always wINGMAN MINGYU WHO’S LIKE HEY LET’S ALL GET LUNCH AND LET ME EXPOSE EVERYTHING MY BUDDY HERE HAS SAID ABOUT YOU
Wonwoo proceeds to want to die
But it’s fine because eventually things work out and ❤️ wink wonk

The first time you kissed Wonwoo’s forehead was when he sulked after a bitter defeat and you had to comfort him
He debated on sulking more often after that
Sometimes when you lose a battle to another player Wonwoo hunts them down and mercilessly defeats them

The softest thing is when Wonwoo lets you sit in his lap and his arms hold you as both of you play on your phone
When he holds you like that it’s comfortable because it’s easy to sneak pecks here and there hehe

The relationship takes a turn for the worse when Mingyu buys y’all Mario Kart
