YOU HAVE A MOTH HYPERFIXATION???? i admitedly havent been deep in it in a while but i love moths so much it saddens me SOOOO much people see them as ugly clothes eaters when only a very very tiny amount actually eat clothes and moths are beautiful and fluffy and cute and sometimes look like scary freaks

we need to break the moth stigma theyre so wonderful

i literally havent done moth research in ages i dont remember if they can even eat orange like that... brokermoth can though trust her proboscis is just built like a metal staw

i ADORE moths. all moths. they're beautiful and i dont care if they eat my clothes look at them. clearly the superior flying insect. move over butterflies. moth broker is beautiful,just like every other moth my favorite moth is the rosy maple moth,because my favorite color is pink,but so many are so beautiful,definitely deserve more love:]

i do not know honestly,i'm still reaserching different moths. i believe lunar moths are pretty big though! i saw one in person when I was little,so i could be remembering it wrong,but i'm pretty sure it was pretty big! its also pretty cool to see one because i believe they only live one day! dont hold me to that though,i could be wrong,i don't think i am though there are probably bigger moths :]

off the top of my head i think of the giant wood moth <reddit link from 4 years ago

found in australia the females can apparently havw a wingspan of 25 cm!!!

and the atlas moth < wikipedia link

found in parts of asia, wikipedia has citations claiming the wingspan of this beast is between 25 and 30cm.... big guy..

i dont know how lonf the giants live but atlas moths are also typically 1 or 2 weeks... due to them not having mouths to eat :[

the white witch (< wiki link) is usually cited as the biggest bug.. in terms of wingspan with a record of 30cm... despite the atlas moth and heracles moth beating it in wing area
