How beautiful is the Flamingo Palm Leaf pattern embroidered on a tank top? I’ve added a stitch guide for this version of the pattern to my original pattern listing. It’s a quicker way to stitch the pattern and it’s a little lighter for a thin fabric like this tank top! My stitch process for this is in my profile under the “embroidery” stories. This took a few hours split between two afternoons. Can’t wait to wear it!

Rinsing off the @sulkythreads Sticky Fabri-Solvy. This was a dream to use. I printed my Flamingo Palm Leaf Pattern on it, peeled off the backing and stuck it to a tank top. I did have to de-gunk my needle occasionally from passing through the backing of the sticker, but the results were worth it. Rinsing this off was #strangelysatisfying. #beachstitchclub

Bunny wool painting video 4. Finishing off the greenery here and turning back to adjusting the rabbit’s details.

Detail shot of my “Not all who wander are lost” hand embroidery pattern. In my stitch guide, I suggest replacing the roses with a little token from your own wanderings—how cool would this be with a drilled shell or stone with a hole in it? Even a special train/concert ticket could be added!

This is my fourth rabbit wool painting video. In this one, I refine details and begin to add some greenery. I’ll be going back over the rabbit again for details but I wanted this green and yellow in place to keep the colors of the rabbit in check.

Worked on this a little today. I have a hard time getting back into a piece after a break... I worry the stitches look different! But I got back into this one without too much struggle. I cant wait to finish it so I can start adding the background embellishments I’ve had in mind since the beginning.

Third little rabbit wool painting video. Now that the main colors are in place, I begin adding shadow and light and some details.

I finally made my hand embroidery pattern into a painting! The original will be available in my Etsy shop soon and the design will be in my Society6 shop. I enjoyed converting a thread-based pattern into gouache watercolors.

This is the second video of this little bunny wool painting. It’s been way too long since I worked in this medium.
