SFC Social Media Challenge Day 2: first conference

We drove twelve hours to and from Maryland, and on the ride home, I woke up to Jeff getting a speeding ticket from a cop haha!  I attended by the grace of God and generosity of a CFC sponsorship.  This conference introduced me to the world (literally, okay no maybe just US and Canada) of SFC and I’ve attended every conference since in Honolulu 2010, Miami 2011, Los Angeles 2012, and Las Vegas 2013.  Chicago 2014, here I come!  Haha oh wait… :P

2014 CFC-SFC CONFERENCE PRAYER

Heavenly Father, we praise and thank You for who You are and all You've done for us.  We can do nothing without You and are humbled by Your overwhelming love and mercy. 

We thank You for the community of Couples for Christ and all its ministries, especially CFC-Singles for Christ, as we celebrate our 20th anniversary in the United States. Thank You for the friendships we have developed throughout the years and for Your Holy Spirit transforming our lives throughout each household meeting, Christian Life Program, Area Assembly and Conference. 

As we prepare our hearts for the 20th annual CFC-SFC Conference, may You bless Your servants across the country, and especially those in Chicago, Illinois that will be sharing their time, talents, and treasures in preparation of and throughout the weekend of June 27 - 29. We also ask that You bless and protect the members of CFC-SFC USA who will be traveling and participating in the conference and those who are still undecided. May You keep us safe, Lord, and provide for our financial needs in the months to come. May Your Holy Spirit work through the hearts of all who will be present at the conference so that through Mary, we may grow closer to Your Son, Jesus Christ, and truly behold and ponder the wonder of Your love for us.  

We proclaim this through Jesus's name, Amen!
