OK, so I thought it was not going to happen
Well, someone asked me to go exclusive with them. It happened rather quickly and while I said yes, I am still feeling pretty overwhelmed. I have not really been updating or following the tumblrs too closely because I have busy with that, but I'll see if I can make sense of things.
This is San Francisco, all right. One of the few times I managed a double take reading the news here.

I toured the California University of Pennsylvania (but did not choose to go there)! Turns out that CUP is right down the road from the Indiana University of Pennsylvania. I think Pennsylvanians have issues coming up with original names. Pennsylvania also has city names like "Intercourse" and "Blue Ball." We're, uh, weird. Just listen to the Pittsburghese accent some time.
Burgramento sounds like a specialty cheeseburger. Like, with pimento. Which would be odd.Â

I live in SOMA, and one piece of advice for Folsom Street Fair goers
I am not especially fazed by all of the fun and interesting things people do at Folsom Street Fair, and public nudity is all well and good, but the number of people who go around without shoes on is a bit disturbing. I live right next to the fair and let me tell you that I know exactly what the homeless people and inconsiderate dog owners do on the street. Hell, I do not even think plain flip flops are a good idea either.

There were lots of, uh, things
A date at the Armory will -- spoiler alert -- involve porn stars, sex toys, and 55 gallon drums of lube. Well, not directly involved, but these things are kind of prevalent over there. I had no problem with this, though apparently, there is an extended tour beyond what we were able to go on.
Me being me, I enjoyed the drink list at the Armory club next door a bit more than some of the more esoteric stuff (like seriously, electricity and my dangly bits should not mix). I should have taken one of those instead of a swag bag.
When I dominate at Soda Popinski's
Musee Mechanique is where its at! (Actually I've never been to Soda Popinski's so I shouldn't judge.)
Second date
A weekend tour at the Armory and Kink.com. She's got the right idea.
(Until I get tied to a post and flogged or something. That's more fourth or fifth date territory.)

Instead of heading out the door right this second to be super early, I'm just going to write a blog entry about my first date. Hooray, I guess?
My boyfriend is pretty into football and his fantasy football team. So I talked him into the following plan for next year:
We research these guys well. Then we name our (his) team âlaw abiding citizensâ and draft only the players we think wonât get accused/charged/arrested/etc. of any violence....
The police report on what the child went through is the thing that seals it for me -- the kid was bleeding from, um, everything. That's not remotely appropriate, even if you were somehow in favor of corporal punishment (which you shouldn't!).

A Note on British Accents
A few weeks ago, I went on a date with a guy who reminded me of Edward Snowden, but with a British accent. I considered this to be a good thing.
We met for drinks at a bar near the Flatiron, and proceeded to drink lots of gin and tonics on the patio. Â He asked me, âDo you have a thing for British accents?â to which I replied, âNo.â Â I asked him, âDo you have a thing for Asian girls?â to which he replied, âNo.â Â We were both lying, Iâm sure.
What is it about these accents that make them so dreamy? Is it that you can close your eyes and imagine youâre on a date with Colin Firth? Or Voldemort? (Hey, whatever youâre into. Iâm not here to judge.)
He made it pretty clear that all he wanted to do was sleep with me, and I made it clear that it wasnât going to happen, so we probably wonât see each other again (although we text from time to time). Â However, if he wants to read a book to me or something, that would be quite lovely.

When I turned 25, I was SO EXCITED. I was like this is the PEAK OF MY LIFE. This is SO GREAT!
Now I am turning 26, itâs downhill from here. Hah. Or the pressure I put myself in.
My friend texted me, âFew more hours before turning 26â and I replied,â It makes me scared how I have to have my shit...
When I turned 26, I mentioned to people in the office I worked at that I was a smidge sad that I was closer to 30 than 20. They all promptly told me to shut the hell up.
