The show went SO well -- such an awesome privilege to perform with these amazing, fabulous men.
Sorelle's reminder not to sweat the small stuff! #msladue
6-word life summaries! #msladue
Some of the books I'll be adding to our classroom library tomorrow!
Happy birthday, @johngreenwritesbooks! To celebrate, #TFIOS will be added to our classroom library tomorrow. :)
Reminder to my students - let's see 100% homework completion in all classes tomorrow! In case you've forgotten, our class website is here: http://msladue.tumblr.com Love you all and can't wait to see you tomorrow!
Good morning.
And now for yesterday's hashtags from my afternoon classes! We got #nothingisimpossible up there TWICE, which seems like a good sign.
The hashtags my 7th graders have come up with so far today to describe this class!
Ending the day with some reading in bed. It's going to be hard work to compete against my students to see who can read more books this year, since many of them brought books to class and already have a major head start! Our goal is to each read 40 books by the end of the year, so that means getting started right now!
The lovely Jesse practicing Proud of Your Boy! Come see us on August 30!
Pulled out the Taft Middle School yearbooks tonight since I thought it might be fun to let my students see what I looked like at their age. Quite a few teachers have mentioned to me that students often change quite a bit from 7th to 8th grade, and I guess I was no exception to that rule.
Obligatory "it's official" picture -- here's to an awesome year at Korematsu Middle School!
Sending my love to all of you at HSA! Rock it out this year - I believe in you.
I feel like the "Conrad" section of my classroom library says a lot about me.
The classroom is coming along.
