♥ ((cries I'm sorry this is prolly a bad idea))
((For your baby maybe))
They couldn’t say why exactly they were laying on the ground in the middle of the park. Nor could they have said why they had been walking about town in the wee hours of the morn. One thing the brunette could say was that they felt absolutely restless. No matter what they had tried, Wy was simply unable to sleep.
And so they were laying in the wet grass, staring up at what few stars they could see through the city’s lights wondering just what the hell the problem was.
“Ah, quite all right. It’s a pleasure, Lord Wy. As for the song, it’s an old favorite of mine from Mary Poppins. The movie, if I might add.” she sighed, finally looking down and realizing what was occurring.
“My, my, I’ve been quite oblivious, haven’t I?”
Looking down, they finally noticed themself. A wicked red blush began to creep onto their face and soon it reached even their ears. This was a surprising development.
“I-it seems we have both been r-rather…distracted,” they mumbled. Now was the worst time to be losing steam, but they couldn’t help it. Such things weren’t exactly their forte.
“I... didn’t think it could happen twice,” the gray-haired woman murmured, looking up again. “Ah, well, I guess that gives us an excuse to continue talking, then.”

“Aaa!” Gaia whirled around, falling off the back of the bench as she did so. A few seconds passed before a small giggle escaped her lips. “Ow…” she mumbled, half-smiling.
Looking up at Wy, she sighed. “What a way to make a first impression, am I right?” she giggled again before standing up and brushing herself off. “To answer your question, I was singing. I’m Gaia, renaissance fair actress by day, and also renaissance fair worker by night.”
“And who are you, Milord?”
“Oh I’m so sorry I didn’t mean to frighten you!” they responded, offering a hand to help the woman up, but it was retracted as she stood. Giving her a sheepish grin, they proceeded to introduce themself.
“Wy miss, although my profession’s a bit more…risque than yours,” they admitted with a laugh.
“Your singing was beautiful. What was the song?”

Perched on the edge of a bench a ways away, Gaia carefully opened a locket she usually kept concealed. A rather old photograph lay inside, a picture of two smiling children, one with his two front teeth missing. Gaia sighed softly, scanning the area. She couldn’t see anyone around… She closed the locket, slipping it back into place.
She wasn’t able to sleep at all that night, but it wasn’t the restlessness caused by nightmares. No, it was a different restlessness. She wrote it off as homesickness, and so, wandered the streets to find that one little shop that smelled like how the world smells after it rains. That one little shop that smelled like home.
”Stay awake, don’t rest your head, Don’t lie down upon your bed, Though the moon is in the skies, Stay awake, don’t close your eyes… Stay awake, don’t close your eyes.”
She sang softly, sweetly, barely registering the figure in the distance nor the faint red glow emitting from her chest.
They were tipping between the edge of sleep and consciousness when they heard the singing. It was quiet and yet their ears still managed to pick up the light melody. At that moment they found themself compelled to follow the voice to it’s owner and they did so. In hindsight it was rather stupid, stumbling through the night chasing down something that seemed more like a dream than anything else.
Soon enough they were nearly caught up with the singing woman but had yet to notice the light from their own body. They jogged to cross those last few feet and placed a hand on her shoulder to try and grab her attention.
"Excuse me Miss? Were you the one singing?"
“Aaa!” Gaia whirled around, falling off the back of the bench as she did so. A few seconds passed before a small giggle escaped her lips. “Ow...” she mumbled, half-smiling.

Reblog with who your partner pokemon would be in the tags!
You know, your best pal, your bud, who follows you everywhere, who sits on your shoulder (or maybe you sit on theirs). We’re talking Ash and Pikachu levels of companionship.
Send me "alt!" and I'll introduce you to a character I've rped in the past, want to play in the future or are currently playing somewhere else!
“I’m truly curious as to what a “vid-ee-oh game” is... though I doubt anyone really knows, aha.”
//the kid I tutor is in 6th grade. They haven’t taught them GCF or the GCF street until just now, and he still hasn’t learned the street. I learned those both in fifth grade and we are only six years apart.
Good job common core. Making our youth more ignorant???
//Wait, I learned the GCF in 5th as well. *shrug*

//In an AU, Gaia's a defense attorney in Japanifornia, which I neglected to mention, and bits and pieces of AUs incorporate into canon and DS-verse Gaia, which explains her occasionally shouting lines from the series.
WARNING: Here be spoilers. If you haven't played the original trilogy and Dual Destinies, this forum is not for you. ((Fer de copy thingy, if you're up to it.))
((OOC I WAS REALLLLLLLY CONFUSED FOR A SECOND))
"Aha! Thats it!" Winters snapped, remembering what he had forgotten. "that lady was talking about that videogame! Ace Attorney, I knew it!"
"What lady? And, uh, what's a... vid-ee-oh game?"
The 28th gif in your folder is your muse's reaction to getting a very large hospital bill
"OBJECTION! That was... objectionable!" the woman cried, seemingly pacing back and forth just a little ways away. Loud? No. Insane? Probably.
Jumping at the sudden noise, Winters turned towards the woman with such velocity, it gave him a neck cramp. “Ouch, fuck” he cursed, pressing a hand to his neck, the other tightly holding a spear. Oh, there the catcoon went.. Where had he heard that line before? It sounded strangely familiar, but no matter.
Whelp, no bother being stealthy now. “HELLO YES MA’AM COULD YOU PLEASE NOT SCREAM, YOU SCARED AWAY MY MEAL.”
"I dont think you’d win in any court of law with an arguement like that, personally." While his words were laced with scorn, he habitually keep a smile on his face sending mixed signals. "You new to the flock, little bird?" Winters huffed, placing his speak back into his backpack and placing a hand on his stomach. Its probably better she stopped me. I hate killin’ those critters…
"Me? Well, I’ve been here a while now, but in a different neck of the woods, so to speak," she murmured. She watched him warily, not liking the mixed messaged this man was sending. "I… guess I’m new to seeing other people here." There was a bitter edge to her voice, as if she didn’t really care for the people she’d met.
"Mmm…" Winters gives her a nod, eyes dropping down, and searching for the right words to say in the grass. "Yeah I don’t usually come this far? B-but foods scarce, and I’ve had to travel more and more to get anything edible…So…yeah." Smooth, idiot. Be friendly! Get over your hunger pains and make a good first impression! Winters huffed, seemingly resetting himself “Sorry. Its nice to meecha. My name is Winters, what’s yours, ma’am?”
'Mph... Gaia. Seems all the people here have names startin' with 'W'. Makes me feel rather out of place..." Then again, when have you ever not been, Corinth? she thought to herself grumpily.
"It's nice to meet you as well, I suppose..." she said softly, giving Winters a weak, sad smile.

"A-ah!" she gasped. "Sorry, I didn’t notice you," the girl mumbled, eyes downcast. "Don’t know why I have the urge to say stuff like that sometimes… I mean, I don’t know much about lawyers an’ all… I think that’s where that whole business comes from…" Her shoulders shook as if she were laughing, yet she made no sound, wore no smile.
