Scourge arm was around his lovers shoulder as they watched a movie,leaning close to Shadow he finally felt happy.A family is what he wanted,needed and he found the love of his life too. So much love for his shadow bubbled up inside him he nearly missed the good bits of the movie by just thinking of the one who as next to him

Glancing to the side to watch his lover he smiled not a smirk or grin but a true smile.planting a quick kiss on Shadow’s cheek Scourge went back to watching the film with his lover.

Shadow was leaning against Scourge as he watched the movie, a content and warm smile on his face. He missed these small moments with his husband. Just being together and enjoying each other’s company, it warmed his heart. In truth, Shadow wasn’t really paying much attention to the movie, instead his mind was on Scourge and how lucky he was to have him. He intertwined his fingers with his husbands and sighed happily.

He then giggled as Scourge kissed his cheek, looking up at him with a kind smile. He pulled the green Hedgehog in and kissed him softly on the lips. “Sneaky hedgey.” He teased lightly and gently booped Scourge’s nose with his own.

He did grin then,eyes closing as he was pulled in and getting lost in the moment near his love. “Mm~ I love you babe.” Scourge whispered movie forgotten for now. He reopened his eyes. “You’re amazing and i love you so soo much.” looking down to the rings on their fingers his heart swelled with love.

The dark hybrid twisted his body and nuzzled into Scourge’s neck. “I love you too, my love.” He whispered. “I’m the luckiest hedgehog in the world to have such a perfect and loving husband like you.” He looked down at their rings with Scourge and smiled softly, the sight filling him with the memories of the day they were married.

Glancing up at the movie, Shadow noticed that it was over and that the credits were rolling. So much for movie night, though he wasn’t really paying attention to it in the first place. With a soft chuckle, he looked up at Scourge. “Looks like we missed the movie.” He said before getting an idea. “How about we go shopping, all four of us? It’s been forever since we went out and did something as a family.”

Scourge smiled lovingly at him. “Sees so,”He replied when Shadow said they had missed the movie.he cupped his lovers cheek while he spoke nodding at the idea. “Sounds like a good plan,i want to spend time with you all..” He kissed Shadow’s lips once more staying close for a moment before pulling back.

Hearing that Scourge wanted to spend time with his family made Shadow’s heart swell with happiness. He eagerly returned the kiss before getting up from the couch and offering a hand to Scourge to help him up. “I believe the boys are in the back yard.” He said. “We’ll have to go back there and call for them.”

Omega took them back to there momma and found Rouge and Shadow talking He came back with them in time so see Shadow wipe away a tear. “What is the matter Shadow i am detecting sadness with traces of longing and shame.” Omega said as he came back.

“He’s fine but there someone i need to talk too.” Rouge walked over to Draven and put a hand on his shoulder. “Your mom told me a couple things about your dad….Things i won’t repeat but lets just say i have a new respect for him maybe i was wrong to judge so quick.” Rouge said.

Draven and Lawren followed Omega, noticing their mother wiping his eye and looking at his wedding ring. They both knew what, or more accurately, who he was thinking of. They missed their father just as much as Shadow did. Lawren, having gotten a bit more steady, hobbled over to his mom and hugged him softly. Draven watched as Rouge approached him, at first glaring at her but when she started talking, his expression softened, but not by much, He still held a serious look.

“I accept your apology. Though I must return with one of my own. My father is dear to me, he’s something of an idol in my eyes, so I tend to lash out when I hear people talk of him like he hadn’t changed. I know that I must learn to manage my anger but for now I am sorry for the mess i very nearly caused.” Draven said, holding out a hand for her to shake.

Rouge patted him on the back. “It all trued out ok. There both alive and happy so it doesn’t matter what you wanted to do. You must have seen something in Scourge we all missed to know he’d be such a good dad.” Rouge said.

Omega simply watched as the brothers had there moment. He now knew he had to keep Lawren from using to much power on the field or he could become a casualty.

Shadow wiped the rogue tear from his eye and gave Rouge a faint smile. “Thank you for understanding. From what I know of Scourge’s family, he doing his best to be a great father and to show that he isn’t like his own father and would never do what his father did to him.” The dark hedgehog brought his left hand up and looked at the golden wedding ring around his ring finger. There were red and green gemstones embedded in the ring, symbolizing Scourge and himself. “I do miss him when he isn’t around but I have happy memories that I can look back on to keep me happy until he returns once more.”

Lawren looked up at Omega for a moment. “Thank you.” He said before returning his attention back to his brother. “Where’s mom?”

“He’s talking with Rouge. The things she said about dad... I’m sorry I couldn’t control my anger, Lawren.” Draven steadily helped his brother to stand on his own feet, allowing him time to steady himself and take breaks. Lawren slowly willed himself to get up, relying heavily on his brother to keep him from falling back down.

Rouge cringed at the thought of the sweat young boy having that done to him. “I never thought i’d say this but thank goodness for Scrounge! How could you even think of doing that! Your son didn’t ask to be put in a hussy! It’s not his fault!” Vary few things could bring moral outrage from Rouge but the harming of children was one of them. How low dose one have to sink to have to take moral advice from Scourge? Most men Rouge knew where animals deep down that would kill a woman and her child if he found out it wasn’t his. Perhaps she was totally wrong about Scrounge? At least as a father he was the most upright man she’s ever heard of. She would have to swallow her pride and say sorry to Draven after this.

Omega prosiest this. Anywhere else and Shadow could have simply destroyed the voice but in his head? He couldn’t kill it or it or he’d be killing himself. This had frighting implcaions if enemys could be with in oneself as well as inside of a friend they would be no way to exterminate then. This brought potential for fear into Omega he found the file where it was located and deleted it before it could be processed. “My conscious mind was not Eggman’s choice. We are both designated mistakes.” Omega said.
