Kid runs up to Miranda, but stumbles and falls. They lie there for a second, sniffling and mumbling to themself. It's clear English, for once, but very very quiet. 'mm-mommie..,,'
*They quickly rushed over and picked Kid up, dusting them off and clutching them tightly.*
"M-Mommy's here, sweetheart...mommy's here. It's ok."
'he hurted.. mmee..,, im'm scared...' They cling to her, sobbing. 'it hurtes,,'
"Where did he hurt you, sweetie? I'll make it all better. I know he didn't mean it...he's just a bit sick right now. He didn't recognize you.."
They look down, and open their mouth to speak, only for some white ichor to dribble from their mouth. 'whoopsie,,'

They bounce off the floor, somehow managing to live, though they begin to cry. A dark chuckle is heard from somewhere, though it's not them..

Shadow kid struggles, trying to communicate desperately. The language isn't anything, demonic or angelic, definitely not from Earth. It honestly sounds like something you'd hear in your dreams, vaguely recognizable as a language but confusing nonetheless. '⋯⊙⋯ ↫⥺☈↫⋮↠... ↫⋮↠⋏↯..↠....?'
"Here, try writing it down for me maybe?"
*Miranda pulled a notepad and pencil from her purse*
They scratch their head as they look at the pencil. They.. aren’t literate. Neither they nor Temper know how to write, having come from the void. There are unfortunately no schools in the void. ‘⋯⋏... ⌅⋏⍝⤉..’
