Subject: Status Update on the Injuries of West Wing Fortress B
Hello! On behalf of the warlock department, I would like to bring to your attention that we have managed to heal and repair half of the injured Shadow Knights which were wounded in the ghast attack of the west wing of Fortress B, four of which being once in critical condition and now perfectly healed.
That being said, 2 Shadow Knights are now in worse condition than before. Allegedly, according to the witch who caused the worsened injuries, these two Shadow Knights did not take her craft seriously and undermined her aid toward them, to which she swiftly engulfed the two in an ice spell. As for the other injured knights, I and the more loyal members of the warlock department are doing our absolute best to return them to health so the siege on Irene and the overworld may continue.
My sincerest apologies for the delay in our efforts and progress. I worry many witches and warlocks on our team may have used protective spells when you changed their memories, thus not actually having altered memories, and they are revolting.
One ounce of good news, during my break, I managed to repair the kettle, and during my off day yesterday, I snuck through the portal unscathed and got the coffee you mentioned liking from Nahakra Village. It is in your office in the right drawer of your desk.
Warlock Department Assistant Manager from Fortress C
PS: Sasha cc’d in case she ever returns from her ‘vacation.’
Appreciated, I suppose. Always good to see someone in the Warlock Department still remembers how to hit “reply all."
Regarding the witch who “swiftly engulfed” two Shadow Knights in an ice spell, please remind her that retaliation is not part of the approved healing process unless it’s funny. If they have not thawed within the next 12 hours, you have my permission to put them both on the mantel as decorations.
As for the budding revolution in the Warlock department, please schedule the concerning witches and warlocks to come to my office sometime this week. I'd like to see them all individually... and have a talk.
I did, however, receive the coffee. It’s the only reason you’re not on probation. Don't mind the... other things... in my desk drawers.
Sending VERY warm wishes (as in literal hellfire),
- Gene
